this is getting beyond a joke, and after 30 years of unbroken viewing im now begining to consider switching off....
how tf did cameron manage to pass alex ? he was running like flip through woodland. ok he stopped to get his breath, but its WOODLAND and anyone moving in close proximity would have made a noise... then cameron gets the better of big strong alex.... yeah like f......
this follows rapidly on the heels of the crappiest ever courtroom trial, and the nonsensicle mineshaft farce.
im sick of this amateurish nonsense, the ideas are ok, but the script and production are utter crap. im not into conspiracy theories, but as blackburn is moving to rival soap corrie, is he trying to destroy emmerdale before he leaves? taking out the opposition?
get back some realism in these storylines or lose more viewers.

I'm with you on this one. Barristers do not carry on like that in real life, and the Kateh stuff was total crap as you say. We didn't even see her being rescued, and it portrayed a very bad view of the rescue services who didn't appear to care .
Emmerdale has got to the point where I have it on as background noise. In fact it was so bad Corrie seemed so wonderful last night with the sneaky Tyrone Fizz Kirsty thingy and Leanne getting ratted mouthing off.
Come on Emmerdale, bring back Matt and Dolly.
And Amos and Henry, and that guy Walter who used to drinkin t' Woolie
Oh yes, Walter! I don't think he ever spoke, did he? Just raised his pint to Seth I think.
But yeah, Amos and Mr Wilkes! YES!!!
Also would Chas only be in jail for at least 2 months before the trial took place, I always thought they would take months before it would go to court.
Haha I know, in fact a murder trail can take years to come to trail. The trail can last up to a year, and the Jury would be deliberating for a few weeks at least, considering the murky nature of the crime.
I understand for TV things need to be paced up but that was on par with a parking violation speed.
Also, why did the CPS go for Murder? made the case more complex as the options were Life or walk away. Most likely they would have dropped it to manslaughter in order to secure a conviction.
That would be a bit difficult Arthur Pentelow ( Henry) was written out of the series as he died suddenly in real life in 1991, Ronald Magill ( Amos ) retired in 1991 and died in 2007 and Al Dixon ( silent Walter ) died in 1986.
But I loved the days of Henry and Amos.
Yep ,I agree.I asked a while ago were they deliberately trying to kill off Emm with these crap storylines .I mean Moira getting it on with Cain ?!! FGS she broke her dead husbands heart with that affair and now she's going to openly date him?
Cameron killing Alex -what ,has he suddenly turned psycho ??
The plotlines for a tiny village are ridiculous with all these murders and deaths. Are they trying to make the viewing figures so low it will be axed ???????
Because a lack of food and weeks-long insomnia is nothing on tied-up legs.
The bigger, stronger, younger and fitter farm-hand was no match for Dances with Leaves.
Camo hit Carl from behind with a brick. Fair enough.
exactly... besides, if camo had simply caught alex, that might be believable....but to secretly pass him in a densely wooded area only to pop up infront of him..... utter crap.
if blackburn wasnt going, i would be switching off. if i want towatch amateurish production and daft plots id watch cbbc.
exactly...the more you look, the more ridiculous the programme gets
It's ridiculous. He also didn't return to the van at the crack of dawn, plenty of people walk dogs in the morning especially during the holiday season.
And why has the cretin ruined Edna's christmas too, aswell as ruining Alex's character by making out he likes wrecking old ladies houses and robbing them.
Debbie also needs to get a grip, I hope after he came round and threatened her last night that she realizes the man is a twonk and gets over it, who cares if he's with someone else, he's unhinged now, past the point of no return oh and he can only get the better of someone in a fight if they turn their back on him.
I couldn't understand why when Alex was being chased, Cameron suddenly appeared in front of him. How did he do that?
Terrible scripts, actors, story's... its not fair on the audience who have followed the rural soap for god knows how long.
People watch Emmerdale to escape the viewing of Corrie and EastEnders(even though i love both).
Its a total sham the lot of it, and somethings needs to be done ASAP. Kate Oates I have so much faith in as she was producer of the Archers so she knows how to make the show into a modern day rural program like it was from 1972-2009.
2009 onwards I think has been rubbish especially 2011-present.
Emmerdale really needs to be sorted out by Kate and ITV to take it back to its former glory otherwise, it'll just end up in the bin.
Oh and another thing before i go(sorry if i'm boring you)
Does ITV even care about Emmerdale in the slightest? Corrie get the best of everything; producers, loads of promotion etc. This is terrible, i'm really worried for my favourite soap
I think we are supposed to believe that Cameron knows them woods like the back of his hand, even though he has only spent time in there recently, maybe we are also to believe that Alex wasn't running that fast because he was cold and had his legs tied up all night, maybe Alex was running in circles, there was no escape from the criminal mastermind of the Woodland God that is Cameron.
It's a load of old crap, we aren't supposed to think too hard about it, strangely enough it reminded me of some horror film, don't know which one but there's always that part where the fleeing victim will stop and look around and then the nutball is behind them with an axe or something, of course this only happens in films where the assailant is supernatural in some way, but hey.
Must be easy to write for soaps these days, wonder how I could get in that gig. Because let's face it, most of the soaps are very unrealistic, you could write what you bloody well liked, maybe Cameron has secret wings on his back or can run as fast as a tiger
:D:D it's ridiculous, I agree with the OP, that Cameron would have got the better of Alex in the woods - even though Alex had a head injury, his adrenalin would have kicked in. I cannot believe we just saw Cameron putting his hand round Alex's mouth akin to him attacking a woman.
