Laptop 2.5 years old needs putting back to factory settings.
I created the recovery discs when the laptop was fairly new, could someone please give me a quick guideon how to now go about putting it back to factory settings, thanks in advance
It's windows 7

HP Recovery Manager can be accessed from the Start Menu, or by tapping F11 key as soon as you power on the laptop. Recovery Manager is used to reinstall back to factory specs and is also used to make a Recovery Disk set.
Thank you
You don't even need the disk. As the instructions said: just keep tapping the F11 key as the PC boots up. You should be given several options, one of which will be to reset the PC back to how it was when you bought it.
Thanks Stig, wish I knew that before I took 3 hours on and off hunting for my discs if created a while back.
Approx how long will it take?
Should take about 30 minutes maximum.
