I don't know whether this is the correct place for this thread but a lot of wrestling talk seems to go on here (a wrestling sub-forum would be greatly appreciated DS )
Basically, do you ever see WWE buying out TNA? After watching some TNA in recent months, personally I don't see TNA in it's current form remaining into the future, Hogan and Bischoff have done nothing for ratings like I'm sure the Carter's hoped they would be and it seems to be what The Bill was to ex-soap stars, a safe place to go for an easy wage after a run in the big leagues, nothing seems fresh and innovative like it did back at the beginning.
Going on the road hasn't done much for ratings, Total Divas got more viewers than Impact last week, Smackdown gets higher ratings every single week, I believe on occasions, both Main Event and Saturday Morning Slam achieved higher viewing figures than Impact's #1 show

All in my opinion of course.
The tape library would be good for the network, brand wise though the only benefit of having the trademarks is that no-one else could use it, so any new promotions would need to start again from scratch. In parts of the world TNA outrates WWE. Mainly due to WWE bring on premium networks though.
TNA's problem will always be lack of money and lack of an owner who doesn't treat the company like a hobby.
