Is the rumour true that her (sorry can't remember her name) from Frasier, the one who works at the radio station, has been cast as his yet unseen wife?

    Quirky episode!!!

Poor Doc Mrs Robbins!!! Caught up in a seedy triangle not of her own making!!!

Missed Nick!!! (day off, obviously!) And Sarah (runs for cover!).

The coroner was the day person, I think (Doc and Super Dave are the night coroners ... suddenly I'm thinking of vampires and werewolves... no, i don't know why, either!). :)

Bit convoluted, but from what I could gather, geneology guy was looking up the Duggans for the young woman who our new girl interviewed (one of the geneology guy's clients from his list), who was looking for a male relative to walk her down the aisle at her wedding. He had found that she had a living grandfather and had then located the cat guy (poor pussy with cancer! :( ) possibly in the same manner as his colleague and Greg did.

Not sure why he didn't just go see the Duggan son (the bride's uncle?) in prison like the CSIs did after they discovered that side of the bride-to-be's family - he could have just gone as a visitor; but maybe he figured it was a dead end seeing as the guy had been in jail a while and wouldn't know where his dad was anyway. So he somehow found the cat guy instead and set off the whole chain of events whereby cat guy was given access to his lost family and then discovered he was the son of his own 'brother' (eugh!) and then murdered geneology guy to keep him quiet (even though he didn't actually have this pertinent fact).

That side of the family weren't exactly good-looking, either, were they? Or am I being cruel, there? :o

But at least he loved his cat!!! :D

Two more episodes of NY to go .... looking forward to them now, knowing we have more to come!!!! :D

No was waayyyy before that, just as they were doing the initial walk through.
Hodges said something along the lines of "Well at least Doc is getting it from somewhere".

He found lots of tablet pots in the bathroom cabinet and it zoomed in on one. I dont think it said viagra but the instructions were take before intended sexual activity, or something along those lines.

I must admit my heart skipped a beat when his wife rang 911 and said dont worry about letting the coronor know and the camera showed a framed photo of robbins, i thought it was him she had killed! I knew that was his wife from the lady reading the csi introduction and i thought they had killed him off!

I had to look up the mother and the son (not the one in jail) and my goodness they both look so different in real life. I will have to rewatch this episode though because I lost the plot. Who was the blonde girl's dad then? Another Duggan?

Loved the Doc in this. I don't know if anyone has read how Robert David Hall lost his legs. Absolutely horrific. I think he is a great actor - very understated.

    :(

    IMDB says........

He had both legs amputated after sufffering burns over 65% of his body - the result of his car being crushed by an 18 wheeler in 1978. (He was 31)

Yes, I know how he lost his legs. It was more of a statement not a question. Not a dig at you by the way.

Also meant to say I phrased my original post badly too. Sorry. That'll teach me to rush posts. ;)
