    WHOA! Wrong caution!

That was an amazing episode (except for the little fire story and the meeting point INSIDE the school? lol) Laurie Brett is one amazing actress and I'm glad she's got to show it, Enjoyed this series and can't wait for the new series in January :)

Quite enjoyed tonight's episode...and the whole run actually. Here and there it's had its wobbles, but so too did Series 1-7.

The fact that I find the Connor/Imogen/Christine story the most interesting is a sign that the characterisation is still strong enough to carry the show, and proof that it isn't wholly dependent on the familiar Rochdale faces. In fact, the likes of Phoenix couldn't get out fast enough...I really didn't like his character in Rochdale, and I haven't in Greenock either.

In the episodes to come, I do hope to see a bit more school stuff going on - we've had a lot of plots revolving around outside events, which is all very well and good to establish the characters, but now its time for the school drama. I'd love to see a more distant familiar face show up from out of the blue maybe :)

Still enjoying the show, and will continue watching :D

Last night was by far the best of the series (though that's really not saying much)

Ratings seemed to have settled in the lower 3m mark but the younger audience is watching.

Wonder if making it more edgy and taking it off to BBC3 would work for them

Best bit of episode 10 had to be Imogen slapping Jane Beale
