I have just installed windows 10 (computer asked me to update my computer and they gave me the window 10 software) the problem is not when I go into a webpage it is covered with words that are underlined twice and they give me various other websites ie a credit check website (unlike before if they had any of these - very rarely - they would give you information) so can anyone tell me how to remove the "double underlines" as its driving me nuts!!!! Many thanks in advance bbuk

Some Internet Security software includes adblocking as an option (Kaspersky for example).
Has per Dave, the underlined words are ads, and nothing to do with IE10.
You can now get Adblock Plus for IE which works well.

Well, it couldn't be any worse than Windows 8 !
You're right, good call.
I only use IE occasionally for sites that don't seem to work with Chrome and the ads are a pain.
I was completely puzzled by the thread title before I opened the thread and started reading the first post. Windows 9 isn't even out yet. Still, everyone makes mistakes.
Both Vista and Me were as bad as Windows 8, but at least they didn't have a Playskool interface I wonder what Windows 10 will be like when it does come out?
I might as well post 'Macs are shite' in every thread.
Solicitors don't need much originality or imagination so she should do well in her chosen profession......:D
So it'll be like MS-DOS or a Linux distro such as Arch Linux in that it'll be all text based with an optional GUI?
Might as well get in my time machine (not the one on my Mac ) and head back to the 1980s then
