After a 32" LCD for my parents, budget is around £200 and they are not interested in going on line to check for bargains and want to see the tv before they buy it. Not worried about full hd as they have an old 21" at present.
Anyone know of any high street/supermarket bargains they can have a look at.

Both will do the job and around your budget. I would stay away from some of the budget brands, not so reliable and customer service may not be up to scratch.

I know this is just over the £200 - but either of these would be fine.
The Samsung UE32EH5000 is a good quality HDTV with an HD Freeview tuner and is £299 with a 5 year g'tee from John Lewis. I recommended it to a friend only 2 weeks ago and she has now bought it. It sets itself up and has a good Freeview picture and the HD Freeview, whilst not excellent, is not far off. There is no internet access or 3D which you don't want hence the low price.
This Samsung makes quite a big difference with the budget he mentioned, there are plenty of good TVs in the £300 price range though.
