Can't find a thread on this although I know it's a web series. Anyone watching? Not my usual type of show but I'd seen a trailer whilst watching Damages and thought it was worth looking at.

But just remeber that 3 'seasons' doesn't equate to as many epsiodes as you'd think.
As has been said, this was originally a web series, with each epsiode being about 10-15 minutes. In its move to the television you're essesntially seeing a few of these 'webisodes' put together to make a 60 minute (with ads) television show.
So i think 'season 1' is actually only 2 epsiodes long.
Seeing the ads for this it does seem like a Secret Diary Of a Call Girl/The Client List mash up.
Very intimate drama, low budget, minimal location with a small cast. Julia Stiles is really good. I've wondered why she's never been a bigger star, she's talented and starred in some decent movies but she's always been a lesser star for some reason. However in this she's front and centre and excels.
I also like the relationship she has with her son, it's genuine but he's a really annoying kid! At first i thought the son was gay because he seemed rather camp but then there was the scene when he was caught looking at porn, so i guess not. Nice turn from AHS's Sarah Paulson in the opener.
According to what i've read there's 3 seasons been made. Lifetime have bought the rights to seasons 1 and 2 which in total consists of 10 one hour episodes made up from all the webisodes. So there's another 9 eps left. The show started way back in 2012 so there's a lot of content been made since then.
I've always thought that was a really underrated actress. I suspect that she isn't more famous because she just wants to be an actress rather than a star and she does seem to be quite choosy about what roles she plays, unlike a lot of actors.
Yeah you could be right or it could be that maybe work's just dried up for her and parts she's competing for she never gets. It's a tough industry, but i agree that she's under-rated. How many other extremely well known actresses are now doing webseries? This show would gain a lot more coverage if it was on Netflix for example.
Also liked the scene with Jeanne Tripplehorn in the hotel room where she tried to recruit Blue. Really good work, especially Tripplehorn's monologue on why she wanted Blue and why men want her.
I'm not sure what Sarah Paulson's character is all about but she seems very fragile. I suspect the older guy (who i recognised from 24) was Cooper's dad? Someone Blue had an affair with? Seemed that way.
So has anyone been watching this from the very beginning? I have and i must admit for a web series i think it's top quality and a really good show. I've enjoyed watching it with all the different storylines and Julia Stiles has really excelled in this. Her Blue is a fantastic character.
3 season's worth of webisodes condensed into 10 1hr episodes. Shame it ends tomorrow as it's the final episode. No idea if they're making any more.
According to what I've read regarding Blue currently showing on Lifetime, all they have is the first 2 seasons that they have been showing. Season 3 was, or is still, being broadcast in the US so there is still more to come.

TV Wise made a mistake. Lifetime picked up ALL the webisodes that have been made for this series to date incl. what consists of season 3 which is 4 webisodes. I've checked on IMDB which tallies with everything that's aired to date. Tonight's episode is the final episode of everything that's been made and shown so basically the end of season 3.
Season 4 is planned but nothing has been set in stone as Julia Stiles has been filming other things.
I want to know, how Josh reacts to his Dad, Arthur and his traumatised Daughter and Blue's Sister & Girlfriends singing.
It looked like a play at times, but beautifully done. Very understated and no unnecessary dialogue. There are very expensive tv shows on big networks that could learn a thing or two from this web series!
I agree that it's well-made.
