Hi

I got a new laptop last week and it included an annual subscription to Norton 360 Gold Edition

My laptop had a 60 day Norton free trial already installed so I activated that

I'm now trying to add on the year subscription

I have a card with a product key number...........and the instructions say to visit

www.norton.com/uk/360gold

http://uk.norton.com/360/

and enter the product key

So...........my question is - where do I enter the product key ?

For the life of me I can't damn well find it..............

You enter the key into the downloaded software, not the website.

Doesn't the renew option from within Norton itself allow you to enter a new product key? Pretty sure it does have that option somewhere.

    All done !

Just one more thing...............I've still got a few months left on my previous Norton subscription for my laptop that crashed last week

Does anyone know if t's possible to transfer those days on to my new subscription ?

There's nothing obvious about it on the website ................:o

    yet one more thing.............:D

Does anyone the Back Up provided by Norton ?

Just wonder if it's worth bothering ?

I usually just back up my documents to disc.............would there be any big advantage to using Norton back up ?
