Well, according to People magazine anyway.

I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that but I found the top 10 quite surprising. :o

What does everyone think?

    ...None of these women mentioned in this thread so far are the world's most beautiful, believe me you will find Girls on the beaches of Rio or in some grotty village in Russia that are much more beautiful. What polls like this really mean is "world's most celebrity current event beautiful woman"

    All the top 10 are American so in other words the most beautiful women 'in the whole wide world', according to Americans are American. 'Nuff said.:rolleyes:

    Gwyneth is certainly very attractive, but world's most beautiful? I can think off the top of my head of Emma Watson, Jennifer Aniston, Hannah Spearrit, Mel C, Billie Piper, Sam Barks - all of whom I'd say I prefer.

    I know that beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that but Pink??!! I'm sorry but she looks like a bloke to me.

    My sisters and numerous female cousins are head and shoulders above most on that list.

    Thats your birthday and xmas presents sorted out then.

    GP has a certain elegance about her with a usually high degree of attention to detail.

    Pink is an odd choice for top ten.

    Pink- no way. She is not beautiful. And neither is Drew Barrymore.

    Halle Berry is the only one who qualifies for that list.

    She's definitely beautiful in a Sissy Spacek way, and she looks very healthy too. It's nice to see a fairly natural looking woman win a poll. I'm really bored of the overdone extensions/lipgloss/eyeliner/false lashes starlets.

    she's ok. healthy looking rather than beautiful & definitely not most attractive in the world. Halle Berry takes that honour IMO

    Gwyneth's clearly atttractive but does spout some utterly insufferable rubbish at times. She's probably the best on that list though.

    It's just another excuse to make a list of female celebrities who happen to be popular at the moment. We're going down another road of labelling people 'beautiful' or 'not beautiful', subject to everybody's personal idea of what the word actually means.

    What was she thinking when she chose that abomination? She has a great figure but that dress is really unflattering.

    It's possibly one of the ugliest dresses I've ever seen, the side panels are the very least of what's wrong with it.
