As mentioned elsewhere Alan Green has just left 606 or rather has been axed from ,his commentary contract with Radio 5 Live lasts until after the 2014 World Cup .If reports are too be believed when he found out that he would not be doing 606 next season he wouldn't finish the rest of his 606shows this year ( obviously not very happy at all about it)
Good stuff looks like Mr Green is well on the way to being deposed by John Murray as one of the main commentators and I doubt his ego will let that happen lightly. Don't particularly want him on Talk Sport but then again Matterface is one of the poorest commentators.

Good article that thanks Stormy I wasn't even aware that Green had been ditched from 606 until gouldfather brought the subject up. I have moaned about Green in the past but at least he had some character and said what he really thought inside, he'd be better than Saggers anytime so I hope he ends up at talksport some time in the near future.

What a right set of serial LOSERS our sad neighbours are, (Sheffield United) seven times participants in the play-offs and lost the lot of them, I know I'm speaking after the event but I knew they'd bottle it again in these play-offs they simply weren't good enough. They were up near the top all season but even most of their own fans were saying throughout the season they didn't know how they were doing it because they were so lacking in quality. They had a good system playing away from home they developed a very good defensive system and scoring on the break to win a lot of games, it worked well for them but at home where they had to play the attack type of game they were awful you only have to have a quick look at their results over the season to see I am speaking the gospel truth.
The trouble with United is the chairman, yes he's a true Blade and yes he's put millions into updating their once shabby old ground but United are left owing him a fortune, depending on what you choose to believe it's anything ranging from £25,000,000 to £40,000,000 and he's said publicly "enough is enough and I won't be putting another penny in". So every player sold (and he's sold millions of pounds worth in the last few years) every penny goes back into his bank account so he can get his money back, United can't bring in any decent players to build a team good enough for promotion they are stuck with what they've got.
I wanted them to go up, the local Sheffield derbies against them at tremendous occasions which fill the grounds and all the fans on both sides really miss these derbies.

Well I have seen Alan Green sitting next to Stan Collymore at a Chelsea match doing commentary and they seemed to get on fine so I wouldn't believe what you read in the papers (especially the Daily Mail).
I am telling you stranger things have happened than Greenie turning up on the TalkSport airwaves and I for one think he would do the almost unacheivable and actually improve what is already a damn fine lineup.
Let's all believe and make it happen guys:)
PS I only have one cat a little black and white female who is my best friend and she loves TalkSport too. Every morning she eagerly miaows at me when I turn on the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast with Ronnie Irani:)
