I've just finished watching the show on the +1 channel and wished I'd taken your warning.

Oh look everybody, it's a street dance group. We've not seen many of these.
Yeah I'm getting a bit like that about them even though I kinda like the music they dance to.
Oh come on Walliams is so gay why doesnt he just admit it.
I know! I bet quite a few were shocked when he got married!!

Tonight's show was pretty dire on a whole. Apart from a two female singers who I'd question if they would turn a chair on The Voice and the basketball team, the whole first hour was just worthless shite and it didn't end that spectacularly either. I actually turned to do some revision notes whilst the show was on, so as least I didn't waste the entire 75 minutes.

There are a lot of posts in this thread, then I realised you all typing as you're watching.

I didn't mind tonight's show, it wasn't as good as some of the others. The 16 year old girl reminded me of Kate Bush, and the 14 year old girl had a good voice for her age. Not sure what the appeal was with the sparkly sailors, and the basketball players look like a one trick pony.

Have turned over to Rory Gallagher at Rockplast on Sky Arts 1. Why don't we get something actually, genuinely original on any of these shows any more? Why don't we get people who can make a musical instrument speak? Why do I watch Britain's Got Talent when I could be listening to Rory Gallagher?

    :D

the sailor bears were really hyped on This morning was a bit of a letdown.
Simon buzzed them and then gave them a yes?

Decent street crew but would not have stood out on Got to Dance.

I'm pretty sure there was a guy in the audience, shouting and clapping them, when they were performing, that was on Got to Dance as part of a crew called Unity UK, he was the 'leader', and given the Unity/United connection I am 99% sure it was him!

ETA Just done a bit of research and it is the same dance crew! Only the guy who was the 'leader' and in United UK was not dancing as part of United We Stand, but he was defo in the audience!

The show was very poor tonight. We don't need dance crews or young female singers. The judges are also on poor form. I hope future programs are of a better quality. I don't think this show can carry on for much longer.

Paige's surname is Turley! Having said that I think 'Paige Turner' would've made a brilliant stage name!

Good spot! :) I did wonder about the massive praise they received from Simon and wondered if there had been an Ashley tip-off. After all, how could he say they were so good after such a short audition? And what does he know anyway?!! The whole Unity UK crew were probably the best we've seen on TV since the days of Diversity and Flawless. I didn't think that this cut down crew were as good on that short performance but may be BGT had said they wanted changes to the original crew.

Missed the discussion here yesterday, I managed to catch the late repeat of BGT Last night and I must say it was pretty bad compared to last week, I'd have to say last night's show was the worst so far, There were a couple of good acts like Wolfgang (I liked them) and the Wheelchair dance (that was okay) but there were a bunch of bad acts too :o other acts were good but they we've seen too much of them (the same acts appearing on stage) singers, dance groups etc. Last week's show was so much better than last night's, I really hope we see more original, unique and fresh acts for next week, I'm just paying we don't see the same acts all over again and again because it was really boring last night :yawn::yawn::yawn: Guess that's it for now let's just hope for the best, see you all next weekend.:) BGMT seemed to have more good acts

I agree, they weren't as good as Unity UK, but like you say they may have been told to make changes if they wanted to audition for BGT

He's an absolute sweetheart! I worked with him in the post office many years ago and he'd finish his own walk and then help me with mine (I was so bad at it) :o.

Not a bad bone in his body. :)

Thanks for checking. That explains why the Google images look completely different.

(No, I didn't actually search. Got better things to do).

I thought this lot were supposed to be pre-screened for the right number of limbs, brains and traces of actual ability, unlike the early rounds of X-Factor which often resemble a Victorian freak show. How come so much dross got through?

And what is it with street dance groups? Is any male teen really into that? Honestly?
