What? I posted a thread on celebs who commit crimes. Were in the wording was of the title was ''CB''. I've hardly been on here today nor talk about it in more than 3 posts.

    Chris brown is a legend.

Rihanna has enough money to get over it, she mentally drove him to it. Apparently she hits him as well.

I hadn't realised we had a constant companion of Chris Brown on DS, how else to explain your insider knowledge?

Chris Brown is no legend, other than as a sad arsehole who beats women and threatens to kill them.

The first thing you said was CB in your post! This wouldn't have even been started if, this whole situation hadn't happened! Your actually giving the number of times you have spoken about him too...like you count! You must realise it makes you look obsessed.

For instance I read the title, and figured it was you before I saw the name below! ;) This is the reason why, that bitch ama keeps attacking you for it...and atm you are doing yourself no favours! Because even I am starting to thinking your seriously obsessed with it...and quite frankly, it's a little unhealthy!

Well, to start off, I laughed hard at the 'Chris Brown is a legend' comment :D How old is he??? 19??? He's only had about 5 singles and none of them were anything special.

In reply to the original question then i suppose it depends on the crime. George Michael for example isn't whiter then white but i love both him and his music regardless. Gary Glitter on the other hand...

As someone else said it depends on the crime and if they show remorse. It all depends on whether I feel they learned something or if they are likely to do the same thing again.
The first time I can forgive, the second time not so much.
They are however certain crimes that are unforgivable such as murder, rape and child abuse.

Yes I do post on quite a few them! But over the last few days, we have seemingly had every post from TMZ show up on here, as if we all don't read it! Or even digitalspy articles, from her...it just looks a lil obsessive!

We can have one thread and post loads of stuff in there, we dont need loads! ;)

This is true, but all the Jade threads arent started by the same person! ;)

I think Princess raises good points, Im just saying it is easy to attack her because her being the only one posting these constant updates from TMZ etc makes her look obsessive!

If it was really newsworthy, then not an issue. It just becomes subjective, as to what is 'newsworthy'?!?!?!

Exhibit A- The CB is partying post from TMZ, when they later had to backtrack saying he didnt drink or party, just a meeting with execs, hopefully telling him, his career is OVER :D!

I like these threads it's better than seeing pointless Jade threads, which aren't even of any importance!

It depends on how much I liked them to begin with- I still love Pete Doherty despite his criminal escapades because I love his music, the same with Liam Gallagher. In fact, in the case of Peter, the more trouble he got into the more I sympathised with him- he seemed so lost and I'm glad he seems to have pulled himself out of all that now. I'm a pretty forgiving person and it would take a lot for me to stop liking someone I respect because of their bad behaviour and I don't have any animosity towards Chris Brown's fans if they choose to continue supporting his music.

Gary Glitter - would never buy his stuff. It irritates me it's still available on-line. Last time I said this, I was castigated for stopping him earning a living. Really? Just look at what he spent his earnings on.

Seems a lot of his royalties come from America now, where his music is still played.

I really like Deep Purple. Although he didnt commit a crime but Ritchie Blackmore sounds like one of the most unpleasent men you could meet. Still love his music though hes a wonderful guitarist.

I would boycott if a celeb committed a crime especially if they get away with it.

How would you know about the crime? If they are found not-guilty, that isn't "getting away with it".

For me it's not the criminal element. It's whether or not they have a personality that spoils the enjoyment of something that is supposed to be entertainment. Obviously in the case of Gary Glitter he has committed criminal offenses, but he is also a horrible person and it's impossible to overlook that and "enjoy" his music on merit alone (assuming you liked it before).

There was a while when the annoying, but not criminal, behaviour of the Gallagher brothers put me right off listening to their music properly. Their singles on the radio were fine, but I couldn't listen to a whole album without thinking about how annoying they were, which also ruled out going to see them live. I don't find them annoying any more - their surliness seems funny to me these days, so it's all fine.

Cheryl Cole's conviction for assault didn't put me off Girls Aloud, because I didn't think it was racially motivated, and I also thought she was young and stupid and it was a one off and the other girls hadn't done anything wrong. In that respect I think it's easier to overlook the criminal or annoying actions of just one member of a group if the remaining ones haven't done anything wrong. With good PR they make sure that people think of other more positive things when they think about their artists.

For someone like Chris Brown, he was only borderline famous in the UK before the assault charge, so it's going to be very hard for him to ever shake it off.

I do not support celebrities who committed murder, so someone like let's say O.J. Simpson would be boycotted by me or his films would be. I know some will say he was not criminally convicted of the double murders in America but I followed the trial and was more than convinced he did it. He was found guilty in the civil trial that followed for both murders, and that is certainly a legal verdict in America anyway.

I do not support celebrities who commit child molestation, or are into kiddie porn or who rape. So that does mark Michael Jackson off my list. Once again, he was not convicted in court but I have seen enough research on him to believe he is guilty of some type of child molestation and perversion with underage boys. You have to use your own judgment on these things when you research it. Kiddie porn was removed from Neverland for his criminal trial by the way. The Kiddie porn is enough for me to say so long to Michael Jackson even though at one time, I really did like him.

I do not support celebrities who beat women or children so yes, Chris Brown would be off my list. I don't want to give money to people who do such things even though of course, they will receive millions, my money simply doesn't have to be among it.

Celebrities who are addicts, get hooked on drugs and alcohol and who are caught with possession or whatever, doesn't bother me. They are harming themselves basically and if they go and do their legal sentences in jail or community service or whatever, I don't care. Keifer Sutherland did his time and I would not boycott him and the same with the ones on drugs. Coolio however, well maybe he should've boycotted before they found the crack on him at the airport:p (Just kidding). Drug and alcohol offenses don't bother me, but murder, child molestation, kiddie porn, rape or battering of a woman or child does.

I may want to add racism to the list. Racism whether it's white on black, black on white, racism against Jewish people or Muslims, whatever it is, does annoy me and makes you not look at the artist in the same way.

One thing I have found, you have to have boundaries and principles and stick with them in life, or else you'll fall for anything and believe everything is ok.:)
