How do i buy Clash of Clans gems with iTunes gift cards?

Hi,
I'm really desperate to find out how to use iTunes gift card for in-app purchases. The one I'm interested in particular is Clash of Clans, because I'm a student and don't have much money to pay for in-app purchases but I really like the game..
Anyway, I've managed to get a few free iTunes gift cards using the method in this video: http://youtu.be/7hR4N8Af5v0 and now I don't know how to use the gift cards to buy gems.
Now, what I'm trying to figure out if I can use this gift card to purchase gems in the game (Clash of Clans)? Is it possible at all?
Please help, I'd appreciate any advice!
