Only saw the last 10 minutes. It looked like Soccer AM but with an even smaller budget and no Helen Chamberlain.

And Lovejoy is starting to get on my nerves now. That mockney accent - aaargh!

Felt like a poor episode from TFI Friday c1994

I love soccer am and so thought I'd give it a go. He is likeable but at times it seemed like a vehicle just to show off his musical knowledge.

There are comparisons to be made to TFI Friday but on the whole not too bad.

Thought Shaun Ryder was embarrassingly bad though.

Must have been pretty poor indeed.

    TFI Friday started in 1996.

    Apologies for the nitpick.....

Was this show mearly commisioned to keep Tim on Soccer AM and at Sky when he signed a new contract?

If so.. (shakes head in dissapointment)

    It really was *that* poor.

And it looked like it was being filmed in a dirty basement.

Not even one unfeasibly tall woman.

    UPDATE
    Terrible ratings too:
Tim Lovejoy and the Allstars failed to make an impression with just 151,000 (1.39%)

Not a great start Andy - just one of Onc's "great new Autumn shows" that's a flop.

I really, really liked it. Funny as hell segment with Collymore, and I cant wait to see some more good LIVE music in the next few weeks. Even though the ratings are a disappointment (especially with Noel Gallagher on first time), I think it will grow.

The band was called the Dead 60's and I really like them as well.

Last night's show was the best by far. The Hives interview :D

Terrible title for the show I thought, sounds more like a kids show.

If it is anything like Soccer AM, it's probably best avoided. Too many smug and unfunny yoofs laughing at their own and unfunny gags.
