How much have you seen of it? Only watched the first few but now it's on here and the original's done I'll probably give it a proper go.
Season one heavily lifts from the UK version, it's basically a remake with Annie/Sally written a lot better and a few minor different interpretations.
If the "sameness" bugs you I'd suggest jumping in with Season Two as that's where it really diverges. By season three the plots are no more related than it would be to any other supernatural type show
That's brilliant news, I really liked Sebastian Stan and so I was disappointed to see he wasn't going to be involved. But Michael will be an excellent replacement.
SFX have a review for the Series 5 DVD (4/5) and the scene is called Our Three Heroes Enjoy Being Human. It apparently sets the cat amongst the pigeons about canoncity.
Just watched the extra scene - here's the gist of it:
Alex and Hal are in a restaurant discussing how Alex's family reacted to her coming back from the dead. Hal seems to find it amazing how well they took it. Tom then joins them after speaking to Allison (who is also human now) on the phone, and says that he is meeting her tomorrow.
Hal asks a passing waiter for a pack of cards, and the waiter inexplicably pulls a pack from his pocket and hands it to Hal. He asks Alex and Tom to name a card, which Hal then immediately draws from the top of the deck.
Hal realises that they are getting everything they desire and that they must be in another of the devil's false worlds. The other diners in the restaurant turn on them, and Trinity get ready to take on the devil again.

Thank you Townsend.
In that case I don't really understand the point about canonicity, since it was obvious from the official ending that they were in a false world. How could it be otherwise, really? They can't really have killed the Devil! I suppose they could have killed a personification of him - Hal said before Rook arrived that the Devil would be dispersed into the air, and then later changed his mind after he was expelled from Rook's body and said he would need to find a human to inhabit again which was the reason he reentered Rook's body. Perhaps if there isn't a human handy at the time then the Devil will disperse - but sooner or later he'll find a human to inhabit again.
Very clever that the ending is still open just in case the show is revived, though sadly I don't think so.
Mine came this morning. I didn't ask for first class post. The email from Amazon said it would be by 12 April. I haven't watched anything yet as I have only just got back from shopping - lots of food!
im waiting on the complete boxset to arrive....strangely whenever i pre-order anything DVD, CD or whatever it arrives on a Weds...lets see if it continues trend...

It really reminded me of the ending of another show
Angel. And not just because of the 'Vampire' thing but because it ended quite suddenly but with a cliffhanger of the heroes about to face off against a great evil. Whilst Being Human UK, the TV show is over, what do you think of the chances of a graphic novel being written to continue the story just like they did in the end with Angel?

Thank you!!!:)
Might give it a watch myself again.

I managed to watch a good portion of it (eight or nine episodes) and the acting was fine but the writing was pretty generic to be honest.
It just didn't have that somerthing-something BBC3's one had in spades if that makes sense.

Mine still hasn't come in.
Really want to do a Series 5 rewatch.
I am going to do a complete series rewatch!

Audios are probably a more likely chance of continuation to be honest.
I must say that Damien looked particularly gorgeous!
