I remember Linda Robson saying last year that there would be a new series. Does anyone know if the plans for a new series are actually happening?:)

Isn't Lesley Joseph pushing 80 now?

Just looked her up, she's nearly 70. Difficult to get away with the slutty neighbour routine without it being embarrassing!

The stage show goes back on tour this spring/summer.

Given its storyline and ending they will presumably do what Yes, Prime Minister did and rewrite the play as a series.

They can hardly carry on from the ending of the play for those who have not seen it.

    In the stage show she
is a slutty owner occupant of a rest home!

I'd think Dorien would be embarrasing now.

The show wouldn’t have survived for as long as it did if it hadn’t been better than good. With a practically all female cast it was a massive hit from the start and what a sitcom should be, but isn’t always, funny.
