Pointless thread about one-word titles

To no particular end, I thought I would survey the number of one-word titles for each Doctor's episodes. I have not included Shada (never completed or televised), Mindwarp (not shown under that title), 42 (a numeral rather than a word) or Dreamland (not a live-action episode). Here are the results.
First Doctor - 8 (Kidnap, Crisis, Flashpoint, Conspiracy, Inferno, Checkmate, Airlock, Volcano)
Second Doctor- nil
Third Doctor - 1 (Inferno)
Fourth Doctor -4 (Robot, Underworld, Meglos, Logopolis)
Fifth Doctor - 7 (Castrovalva, Kinda, Earthshock, Snakedance, Terminus, Enlightenment, Frontios)
Sixth Doctor - 1 (Timelash)
Seventh Doctor - 3 (Dragonfire, Battlefield, Survival)
Eighth Doctor - nil
Ninth Doctor - 2 (Rose, Dalek)
Tenth Doctor - 5 (Doomsday, Gridlock, Blink, Utopia, Midnight)
Eleventh Doctor -
Although Hartnell barely edges out Davison at 8 to 7, it must be noted that most of the Davison one-word titles are either fictional proper names or double words compounded just for the occasion. It could also be said, however, that Hartnell had an unfair advantage with so many episodes per season and all having individual titles at least for a while.
What all this means, if anything, I can't begin to say.

But story titles for those early Hartnells were never shown, only the episode titles. That's what I'm on about.
Series 1 finale consisted of five words (The Parting of the Ways)
Series 2 had one word (Doomsday)
Series 3 had four words, (Last of the Timelords)
Series 4 had two words (Journeys End)
Specials had six words (The End of Time: Part Two)
Series 5 had three words (The Big Bang)
And then I realised that each series finale has a different number of words in the title, before realising that I must be more bored than is humanly acceptable :D
Just thought I should mention it!!!!
:D:D
can we have an episode called "The The" as a homage?
Or "The..." to create suspense!
As in, "The Curse of Fatal Death"?
I'll write to Steven Moffat immediately!!!!
:D
And one called Repetition of the Daleks.
The Death of the Dead
The Doom of the Daleks
The Title of the Daleks
Generic Dalek episode title..................of the Daleks!
:D:D
The Fear of Doom
Terror of the Death
Rehashment of the Daleks
The Fans of Who.
AKA Love and Monsters.
Only if they get a stereotypical old times Yorkshireman to announce it. "Coming up next on BBC One, t'Doctor has some trouble in T'T'."
Both Bakers managed to cram Cybermen, Daleks and Sontarans into their first years though. I think that, after Hartnell, only Pertwee has managed to get through an entire first year with wholly original foes.
Can we now rate them in order?
Damn, is that why I made this thread? Yes, I suppose that's my INTP-ness showing. Rate away if you wish!
or... "The The Of The The"
That's got me all excited and anticipatory now.:D
Featuring the band The The?
