It isn't but it's the closest guess so far.

    Oooh, a shiny new part!

    So, still on Daveyboys quote

"its all right. ill handle it alone"

I think its Tegan from Resurrection of the Daleks?

Might be a good idea to post the rules again:
First poster gives a quote. Next poster identifies either the person saying it or the story it's from and posts the next quote.
Not expecting the quotes to be word perfect at all times But you can award yourself smug points if you correct a paraphrased quote.

    Good plan.

    Couple of suggestions to add.

    1. If a correct answer is not acknowledged in 24 hours by the FM who set it, the FM who has answered it may proceed with the next quote. Correctness may be confirmed by any other FM after the 24 hour period.

    2. If a FM who has correctly answered a quote fails to post a new one in 5 days, a free kick may be given.

What do you think - wording too convoluted?

    Yay a new thread! :D

Yes it was Tegan but it was actually from Arc Of Infinity, talking to her cousin's mate about going to the Police.

    Over to you.

    :)

Has it ever been an ironclad rule that the correct answer must be acknowledged? Sometimes people are dead certain and we do get a lot of 'if so...' :)

Its something about an endless war, but either from War Games or Armageddon Factor. I'll go with the latter, but not sure who said it :(

After tonnes of guesses in such little time, yes it is the Armageddon factor

Yay! And I put the high guess rate down to new thread mania :) After all it took three and a half years to go from page 1 to 146 of the last one!

    "I'm a doctor, not a magician!"

I'd love this to be Dr Constantine from The Empty Child/Doctor Dances given how Richard Wilson is now versed in the magic arts in Merlin, but instead I'll go for Grace Holloway

Quite right to surmise that it is not THE Doctor, but both suggestissn are way too early :)
