Less than PS3 and PSP at launch and will be less than PS4 when that is released on Friday. I hope Microsoft focus more on the games and less on the entertainment after this and it should also give them a rethink on ridiculous micro-transactions.

No. They were almost half of PS4 sales in North America and I would expect similar next week in the UK. I have always owned Microsoft consoles with the Xbox and Xbox 360, but the lack of focus and crippling micro-transactions has completely put me off.
Point me in the right direction of where they have UK stock of Xbox One's?
This is a useless statistic without numbers. Of course the PS4 will have sold more in the US - they ONLY launched in the US, where as Xbox went for a world wide launch, so naturally there will be less stock in each country than at Sony's launch. IF Xbox One stock in the US wasn't selling out AND they had less stock than Sony, then yes, that is bad. But that isn't the case.
Game were also selling bundles on their website for £1k!
Microsoft only have themselves to blame if they have produced less stock for the first weekend resulting in fewer sales. The preorder numbers are higher for PS4 in the UK than Xbox One, so it would have sold more before manufacturing numbers are known.
At the end of the financial year the full picture will be revealed when worldwide sales can be counted as the Japanese launch is last. There will only be one winner.
Not jumping to conclusions at all. Microsoft said that the console was sold out at the majority of retailers in the US. IF Microsoft have shifted the reported 50% less consoles than Sony did then it means that less consoles were made.

How can you produce more yields in a certain time frame?
Sony went with a million yield and went NA only.
MS went with a million plus yield in 13 territories. Both basically sold out in Day 1. Both won. Its not all about 'records'
Produce 300k units and sell 180,000
or Produce 140k and sell 140k.
As a sales person what would you be more happy with?
After all the negative PR that has surrounded the console I would be happy if I were MS to double my sales figures compared to the last launch.
You don't know how many are unsold and you don't know the percentage breakdown of how many units were distributed to where.
Your initial comment was that 'of course' MS sold less in the US, because Sony only launched in the US so MS had to spread their consoles around.
That's baseless. You do not know when MS began production. You do not know when Sony began production. Neither do you know how many Sony can make a month and neither do you know how many MS can make a month.
You cannot say that the only reason MS sold less in the US is because Sony only launched in the US. We know from a forum poster on here that Argos has had their PS4 stock for some time, prior to the 15th. It isn't like they made 1 million consoles for the US and now in the space of 2 weeks they're going to make the entire EU, AU and ME stock.
The ps3 sales have proved this previously.
I'd be more happy being Sony, make more and sell more. Sony have already made the consoles for other territories, they just haven't launched until this Friday. Both didn't win. The complete picture won't be known until the consoles are released in the third major territory of Japan, and we all know how that is going to go, with Microsoft a long way behind before then anyway.
But again, it is nonsense talk. You do not know how many were made.
Also someone was asking where it isn't sold out. So here you go.

Or try here http://www.ebgames.ca/browse/storesearch.aspx?sku=709810 look at how many stores still have stock. Tonnes.
So it is only OK to talk about numbers when you have someone overtly positive to say is that how it works?
