I wouldn't mind an Indy 5, I like Crystal Skull, only bad point is the alien storyline. Not a big fan of Temple of Doom though, much prefer Raiders & Last Cursade
To be fair, there's a rather horrible deleted scene from TOD which shows, in jerky stop-motion animation, Mola Ram's hand making its way into the chest of the sacrificed man at the start of the Temple sequence, coupled with a prolonged sacrifice. It's pretty disturbing stuff.
they do and did recently, crystal skull, and are making another soon
They decided to not do another film as Skull flopped. Now Lucasfilm is owned by Disney they are thinking of re-vamping the series with a new actor as Indy.
I never understood how after being in a mine cart for 8 minutes, which must have been heading deeper down into the mine for them to keep moving, they then emerge from the mine and are literally on top of the world

You know... I never thought about that but... yea you're right.
What always did bug me about the film was back at the palace when Willie tries to open a second passage way... where on earth does she think she is going?
The BBC do show the Indy films an awful lot these days. Don't get me wrong, it is an excellent film series-the epic Last Crusade in particular-but showing them all once a year, on your main channel, is a little excessive, given how many times they've been on over the years.
Is it just me who has Temple Of Doom as their favourite Indy movie?
Always has been ; as I've got older I enjoy the other two films much more now as an adult.
I don't count the fourth film ; it is more like fan fiction than a worthy follow up to the original films. The series ended with IJATLC for me. Perfect trilogy.

I've always thought this was the way to go. The character of Indiana Jones is bigger than Harrison Ford, as much as I am a fan of his. The films need to be kept to the 1930's, with a recast main lead. I thought Gerard Butler might do a good job, or Nathan Fillion.
