How can I find out how many GB my Sky HD box is?

  It doesn't really have a limit as it will automatically delete old recordings you've already watched to create space for the new ones. So it shouldn't totally run out of space ever.

  14 months old, it probably has 160GB personal storage.
  
  Have a look at the rear and post any make and model number or post the Version Number from Settings > System Details.
  
  You won't get a free upgrade and you've just lost your only bargaining tool by re-signing.
