    £50,000 a year for a driver!!! :o:o

They've always been well paid, it's just all their overtime and allowances and bonuses have now been rationalised and consolidated into one salary.

This cleaner isn't going to be in a job for much longer....

Can she not stop sniffing for one bloody minute?

And I don't believe her about the porn in First Class, surely they all have Kindles these days?

This cleaner sounds proper fed up! If she hates it so much why is she still there after 21 years?

That's only the basic starting salary. Don't forget all of the double time extras.

It's not really fair that bus drivers don't get paid anywhere near as much as train drivers yet it is a more difficult and stressful job.

Why people dont like rats? Possibly because they pee everywhere they walk!

The staff on The Tube last year weren't this bad!

And £10,000 just for a late train once. (how many times a year does that happen)

You can see why the ticket prices are so bloody high.

You would think after 35 years of working there he would be able to pronounce the "S" in King Cross.

I really enjoyed 'The Tube' - the staff here seem much more unhappy

If the trains are that busy I just go to the bar and wait for a later one.

The Tube made London Underground and its staff seem like fairly reasonable people and a fairly reasonable company.

This is making East Coast seem like a complete Walter Mitty organisation and the staff like zoo animals.

She reminds me of our HR manager who is always running these ghastly "employee engagement" seminars when everyone just wants to get on with their jobs.

East Coast will be back in the Private Sector in a few years, when the DfT resumes the Franchising programme. I am shocked that TOCs pay £150 a min if a train is late

Because I'm sure that it's not broadcastable ;)

I can imagine they're drafting a rebuttal press release right now. The Beeb will never be let near their platforms again :)
