Just discovered Mr East was in a band between the years of 1993-1998 as the lead singer. They had TV appearances on MTV, VHF, The Ozone, The Chart Show and The Mag.The group broke up in 1998, with some members going on to form Lucas J.

Yes, I remember seeing some clips of him from those days. He looked very different!
