One direction-midnight memories flopping?
this single doesn't seem to be doing well worldwide..and the video didn't seem to have much impact on the single either, it isn't even top 40 in the UK. The video only has 20 million views after 2 weeks, where as shakira has 130 million after 2 weeks..is this an indication that they are beginning to fade because their past videos had huge views and broke records..

they are not fading at all
you and i should have been the single
The single hasn't even been released so that's why it hasn't charted yet. I don't think it was the best song to pick for the third single though. I'd have preferred Through The Dark or Little White Lies.
Considering they had the fastest and biggest selling album of 2013 in the UK I don't think they are starting to fade at all, last year was their best year yet.
Once again, it has NOT even been released anywhere yet.
and i'm worried for myself ..... i HATE their stuff, so bland and ONE DIMENSIONAL .....
except i like this song
please help me
I literally said right before that that a lot of countries are still on the previous single:
It doesn't matter if the release date hasn't been reached though, there's a lot of songs that even got all the way to #1 weeks before their release dates, such as What's My Name? by Rihanna and Airplanes by B.o.B.
Fair enough but I very much doubt a 3rd single from an album that has sold so well would chart so high before it's official release date.
Even if it doesn't chart extremely well I certainly wouldn't say this is a sign that they're starting to fade.
Really? Where?
It's their international success that's keeping them afloat. Had 1D not become popular worldwide, then they probably would've faded a long time ago. They're just so much bigger in the US than in the UK. It's obvious when acts like the Vamps and Union J are having hits in the UK but artists like Austin Mahone and Emblem3 are not doing so well in the states. They're not going to get replaced in the US anytime soon even if someone overtakes them in the UK. 5SOS (1D's opening act from the TMH tour) will be successful in the States but not in a "replacing 1D" way.
Union J are having hits in the UK? I do not agree with that. Their record sales are absolutely appalling.
Yes, it is Pour Some sugar On Me, even the media reported about that.
The video isn't beloved by fans at all, surprised it has had that few views though.
I originally heard it on Capital Scotland, but looking at web searches it's actually that 1D want him to write, but apparently him and Liam are friends so I can see it happening

It's a blatant pour some sugar on me ripoff!
Based on population 1D are more sucessful in the UK than US album wise.
