On a programme the other night - Eddie Izzard was born in Yemen.

Bradley Wiggins was born in Belgium and father is Australian.

Does that mean he could also count as a famous Belgian??

Carry On Films star Sid James was South African

I had never thought about it but when I found out and watched his films suddenly his accent was so plain to hear I wondered why I hadn't noticed before.

Actually no she wasn't, she was born in Solihull, West Midlands. I've just finished reading her autobiography. But she was taken to India when she was very young and didn't come back to England till she was 18.

I think Felicity Kendal's parents ran a touring theatre company putting on Shakespeare plays across India...............I saw a documentary about it

That's what I felt as well.
The same goes for Bob Holness because now I know, he does seem to have a slight hint of a South African accent coming through now and again.
