Films that change dramatically half way through

Watched Harry Brown for the first time last night, and what a startling change of direction it takes half way through. The first part of the film could be a gritty Ken Loach movie like Raining Stones. Then, after a series of depressing events, it's like Sylvester Stallone has suddenly taken over.
Entertaining, but strange all the same.

Yes, exactly what came to mind when I saw the thread title. Kubrick was always fascinated by the contrast between the discipline and order of military training and the chaos and ugliness of actual combat.
If you haven't seen it, you need it in your life!
The Prestige.
The World's End. Going into that blind, you'd swear it was just a regular comedy about 5 old friends. The actual development into sci-fi action happens very late in the day. Compare it to Shaun of the Dead which hinted from very early on about the Zombie presence.
Hancock. It's all over the place. Is it a light-hearted comedy or a gritty sci-fi drama. It never seems to make up its mind.
Speaking of Lynch, I vaguely recall Mulholland Drive shifting gears about halfway through. Though from what to what can't really say . Must watch again at some point.
Hancock is a real guilty pleasure for me, and I love its tonal shift even if it is a bit wtf? The bit where Charlize does her surprise 'thing' in the house, I remember hearing the audience literally gasp at preview.
