The article says "The Wi-Fi-only model will cost £639, while the 4G model will cost a hefty £739."

It doesn't tempt me either, I'll stick with my laptop.

I've been saying for years they needed a bigger hard drive. I might just upgrade to the surface pro from my iPad 2.

Shame the Surface Pro's 128GB is actually only 83GB user storage and the 64GB version only comes with 23GB user storage!

Yes, here's an article about that:

Honestly, for that price I'd rather get a little laptop. Heck, for that price I could get a laptop and a Nexus.

Still no reason to upgrade my iPad 2.

    Wow, that's crazily innovative, what's next? 256GB for £1500? :p

My 64GB iPad 2 is only just about half full and that's with a ton of apps, numerous magazines in newsstand and every photo I have taken since 2006 stored on it. Think 128GB may just be overkill

You might as well get a laptop in that case.

Why the:eek:? It's cheaper than the 128GB Surface, and far better.

But you can put a microSDXC card in or just plug in a USB3 memory stick, can you do that on an ipad lol

Better? No, its different. They're aimed at different markets as well - Surface Pro is more aimed at the ultrabook buyers rather than tablets.

MS Surface isn't really aimed at anyone ....

I realise Windows 8 feels quite bizarre on our current tech kit. But really better?
