The fact that Leigh Francis has already been mentioned twice in this thread has rendered me truly speechless, and not in a good way.
Me too.
Anyway, I'd like to give a mention to:
Kate Bush
David Bowie
J.K Rowling
David Tennant
Billie Piper
Hugh Jackman
Christina Hendricks
Bo Bruce
Chris Pine
Zachary Quinto
Tim Curry
Lana Del Rey
...as being among my favourite people right now. They all come across as truly talented, grounded, and intelligent. I would kill to attend a dinner party with even just two or thre of them!
There are worse people in the world - pretty much everyone on BGT panel apart from Alesha Dixon (whom although I had severe misgivings about her suitablity as a Strictly Come Dancing judge which never went away always struck me as a nice lady) for starters.
My votes go to:
Viggo Mortensen - apparently bought a horse for one of the stunt riders on LOTR
Hugh Jackman
David Tennant
Helen Mirran
Derek Jacobi
Dame Judi Dench
I spite of her luvviness I have a soft spot for Kate Winslet too.
I'm trying to think of someone young and pretty to show I'm not a jealus hater - Rebecca Hall is very talented and seems like a nice enough person but no one else really springs to mind.
It's worth pointing out that no one on the 'nice and nasty celebs thread has ever said a bad word about Emma Thompson either.
Lee Ryan
Antony Costa
Simon Webbe
Duncan James
Rylan Clark(Don't judge he's such a nice guy)
Dermot O'Leary
Ant & Dec
Britney Spears
Olly Murs
Cameron Diaz
Leonardo Di Caprio
Leona Lewis
Alan Carr
Michael Phelps
Fernando Torres
David Beckham
Steven Gerard
Bruce Springsteen
Ian Rankin
Brian Cox (the actor) - I know a few people in Dundee who have met him and say he's a very nice, down to earth bloke.
And, sadly no longer with us: Keith Moon.
Britney Spears, Madonna, Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Joan Collins,
Heather Locklear, Nicole Kidman, Kylie, Dannii Minogue, Cheryl Cole,
Eva Longoria, Christina Aguilera, Lady Gaga, Lana Parrilla, Marcia Cross,
Glenn Close, Julia Roberts, Jennifer Saunders, Sandra Bullock.
Justin Timberlake, David Beckham, Pete Burns, Boy George,
Justin Bieber, Channing Tatum, Will Smith.
Sure I'm forgetting a few.
Dead Celebs, Joan Crawford, Bette Davis, Marilyn Monroe, James Dean.
Andrew Scott
Matt Smith
Rupert Grint
Ed Sheeran
Demi Lovato (she's also so pretty)
They just seem so lovely and I want to be their friend. Pretty sure I do celebrity fantastises wrong. They seem like the sort of people I'd get on with so I automatically like them. Is that a bit weird, that's a bit weird isn't it
I also think Dame Maggie Smith is lovely. She's a fantastic actress and actually filmed the Harry Potter films whilst she had cancer which I think is incredible. She's hilarious and brilliant. Similarly I love Robert Downey Junior. He's turned his life around, he's lovely to fans. I've seen some great tales online and they really made me go from, yeah he's a good actor, I like his films to thinking yeah I've got respect for him. He's brilliant.
I also love Paul Scholes. He's the absolute mark of what a footballer should be down to earth, humble, private and a nice man. It's obvious to say he's also immensely talented but he's the word legend. He's one of the few footballers who played for the shirt and not just for all the cash.
One of my idols is JK Rowling, I won't say too much because I've babbled enough already but she's a woman who has earned what she's got. She's down to earth and a strong woman. I think she's great.
