Petrol stations near the M1

I refuse to use the petrol stations at services due to the exorbitant prices they charge, so does anyone know of any cheaper petrol stations near any junctions of the M1 (between Nottingham and Watford?)

When I say near, ideally within half a mile of the junction, and preferable Tesco/Sainsburys so I can get me points!

Many thanks :)

    ALSO TESCO DO A LINK
To help you find your nearest Tesco wherever you are in the UK or Northern Ireland, you can download all Tesco stores to your Navman or Garmin satellite navigation system.

Just looked under M1 and does not have any petrol station details.

Plus its all well and good having a TomTom like I have, but it does not tell you how far off the motorway the station is!

Anyone else have any local knowledge of places?

Is just as useless. Oh well, I will just have to wing it. Have the ASDA and Sainsburys petrol stations in my TomTom, god knows how up to date it is and will just have to rely on that I guess.

Junction 11 at Luton north has a jet station just as you go off the motorway coming south it would be left at the roundabout then straight along on the right hand side.

Junction 8 at Hemel Hempstead if you go off there is a BP and shell stations just over the first roundabout. However, if you want a Tescos keep going straight over a few roundabouts, about 2 mins drive, and there is one there. Hope this helps.

There's also an Asda garage which is a bit easier to find than Sainsburys - off the M1 into Leicester and straight down to the big roundabout, go straight over to Fosse Park (M and S on the right hand side) and the station is on the right. I paid £1.13 per litre there today, but that's about the cheapest around here at the mo :(
