It's good news but I'm kind of surprised. They do not seem suited to the soap opera antics of the Big Reunion. Nevertheless, it is a fantastic platform for them to perform at arena shows.

I agree to an extent but if they reform independently, there is no way they could ever perform in the likes of the O2. They would have very little media interest otherwise, especially since Louise is not taking part.
Nevertheless, it does seem like they are selling themselves off to make a quick buck.
I just cannot imagine them taking part in the scripted roles which the Honeyz painfully took on to make the show more dramatic.
they really don't need her though, there was enough drama after she was gone and it didn't effect their sound when she left either. it does beg the question whether they really need this show to launch a reunion, because they had some great singles and they were taken quite seriously due to their talent. however, i am looking forward to hearing their voices again, especially easther's and it will be interesting to see what they've been up to.

Gym instructor??
They had so many huge songs. Their career became stronger and bigger after Louise left.
They're too good to be on this show.
My fave Eternal songs
Step From Heaven
So Good
Stay
Oh Baby I
Power Of A Woman
I Am Blessed
Good Thing
Dont You Love Me
I wana Be The Only One
Angel Of Mine
Someday
and many other of their hits.
Are you kidding? They are surely suited to the soap operatics of The Big Reunion. Of course without Louise I wonder how much they'll want to air their other infightings.
Their albums sold double platinum and triple platinum each aside from their last one in 1999/2000 where they were just a duo.
Albums
"Always And Forever" 4 times platinum selling over a 1'000'000 copies in the UK alone.
"Power Of A woman" 2 times platinum (600'000) sales
"Before The Rain" Platinum (300'000)
The Greatest Hits Triple Platinum (900'000) copies
"Eternal" released as a duo (No 87)
There is a lot of history behind their demise. However, the Bennett sisters never washed dirty laundry in public -either about former bandmates or ex boyfriends/husbands. They were always dignified and gracious on camera.
Of course there were major bitchy fights behind the scenes - it is unfortunate that the Big Reunion is the way for them to reform.
Compared to most of the acts who appeared on the Big Reunion series 1, Eternal have a massive catalogue of songs to choose from when reforming - unlike the Honeyz!
Perfect for Big Reunion 2.
Agreed.
I would have liked to see them get back together but they are too good for such a tacky platform to do it on.
I'm disappointed.
yes, she was sacked via a fax message.
That's horrible.
I also always thought Kellie was by far the prettiest member.
On the other hand, I agree with the comments about them appearing on The Big Reuinion. They must have been offered a fortune to do this show as I reckon (unless S Club 7 do it) they'll be the stars of the show. They had 16 Top 20 singles and four albums aswell as the drama behind the scenes. However, The Big Reuinion does seem pretty scripted to me. like TOWIE and i'm not sure the Bennetts will be ones to 'go along' with it. Also, I think they may have used up all the 'best' acts in Series One, so i'm not optimistic that the second series will do as well.
Then again, would an Eternal reuinion work without the Big reuinion? Easther and Kelle reformed the group in mid 00's for a reunion gig with other acts (Boy II Men) but it was cancelled due to lack of ticket sales. However, there does seem to be an interest in the band, I remember Kelle and Vernie have both mentioned several times that the band has been offered record deals to record another album over the years but have always declined. If this is a sucess, maybe we could get a new song from them or something.
Big reuinion Eternal is better than no Eternal
My favourite song of theirs was I Am Blessed.
This.
If they are going to be on this shitefest, I hope they get top billing, it's the least they deserve.
