Tulisa - You know the X Factors sinking when shes a judge.

I used to be a Tulisa fan, I seen her on some programme about dealing with her mums mental illness and actually really respected her.

When I seen last year she would join X Factor, I just knew they would try to make her the new Cheryl Cole, she would go solo, just like Cheryl did. I was quite excited about her, and really disliked all the chav comments about her, but..

She is actually very nasty in my opinion. Her blatant bullying off Christopher, and 'blame' is very distasteful. I could almost understand if Rylan got the same, cold shoulder. But its quite absurd that he actually gets praise from her.

Honestly, atleast Cheryl wasn't in and out the papers for baby daddy nabbing, or for not getting out of bed before noon.

Simon Cowell failed epically with this one.

But Biffa was in the papers for racial assault. So that's ok then ;)

It's the X Factor. You're not going to get some amazing song writer in there, you're going to get someone with firm boobage and some bite to counter Louis "Pointless" Walsh.

Cheryls apparent attack was a long time before she appeared on X Factor and she was also found not guilty.

My point is, you'd expect the judges of X Factor to be graceful, reputable and respectful celebrities. Tulisa is embarrassing compares to Cheryl Cole imo.

I know where you're coming from Jamie (or his mum ;)) - but they aren't there to pamper them, or at least shouldn't be. They are there to be brutally honest per what the music industry is like. Technically, this is supposed to be preparation for them entering the music industry.

In fact, it's not even close. Christopher and Rylan wouldn't even get their demo tapes listened to, but if they did go for a meeting with record execs, you can imagine how badly attacked they would be for being hilariously bad.

But it's all showbiz. It's all for the cameras, the drama, it's not real, despite being reality TV.

Ugh, I hate topics that start with 'I used to be a ... fan, and I'm actually a fan' etc..

Just for the record I disagree with you on most things. I actually do agree with something. Tulisa shouldn't be on the X factor. She's way too good to be involved with this stupid show. I hope she quits after this year. And are you really saying that the X factor is sinking because of the hiring of a certain judge? In that case this show has been a sinking ship since the moment Louis was hired as a judge.. ( wasn't that the first year?).

Tulisa is not even giving her opinion though : she's reading out a script handed to her by the producers.

I think the voting is to tell these jumped up nothings like Tulisa that the public can make or break them. The public purse pays their wages and they had better remember it or they will be long gone.

The public will vote for who they want to be in the final rounds and I also think it is a fingers up to Cowell and Co that the public are sick to death of the way the X Factor is manipulated by the producers and management.

There was the backlash over Joe McEnnery's christmas single and I really think the Christopher vote is something along the same lines.

Sadly, good singers like Joe and Ella are casualties of the backlash but the public are tired of Tulisa and her private life which is doing her proteges no good at all. I think Tulisa should look at her own behaviour before slating the public for doing their thing and not the way she wants it.

She was found guilty of the racially motivated assault if that is what you are referring to.

No one wanted the job, hence they got Tulisa.

Surprised they did not get Geri or Sinitta as they have been so desperate for the job.

Tulisa was chosen because, like Cheryl, she was seen as a young and current recording artist. She was/is a 'mini-Cheryl' in lots of ways. However she just seems bored now. I think one season was enough and there is something 'tired' about her on X Factor these days - a bit like Kelly Rowland towards the end, who looked exhausted come the final press call.

It was 5 years before she appeared on the show but that doesn't excuse her of being lowlife scum.

No, Cheryl was found guilty of the assault and causing grevious bodily harm, but not guilty of racially motivated assault.

It saddens me that I know this, actually

I totally agree with this post, I also think that shes getting bored, she's certainly not the same as she was when she first started the show!

Maybe it is her last season, so perhaps she wont be back on our screens in 2013!

I was referring to her being found not guilty for racially motivated attack as opposed to the actual attack. Apologies I did not make that clear. I'm not stating Cheryl was a saint but she got her 'nations sweetheart' tag from just that, being a sweetheart. Yes she did that in the past, like Tulisa ran around with girl gangs, but once Cheryls career took off and she started xfactor - there was no credible slander or wrongdoings. Because as a judge on a family show you don't expect the mentors to be doing bad shit. Would there of been a 'Cheryl nabbed my boyfriend when I am pregnant' in her day. Well heeell no. That's my point.

Totally agree with you here, Tulisa was ok last year and did a good job with Little Mix but her nastyness and negative remarks constantly towards Christopher and yet backing Rylan and saving him over a good singer like Kye how has she got the cheek to slag the public off for not voting for Ella. Tulisa has now got the feeling of her own medicine, as they say what goes around comes around and I think that she is a total hypocrit.

Tulisa has also been really disrespectful towards Gary Barlow this year, constantly laughing in his face and being grumpy towards him all the time and quite rude at times! Tulisa is a nasty piece of work this year and I have gone off her completely. Give me Cheryl over her any day!

Totally agree with this. The public are putting their fingers up to the likes of Mr Simon Cowell and Tulisa. I like most people are sick of the producers and Mr Simon Cowell controlling the show and who they want in and who they want to win. Tulisa has got her comeuppance, she thought it was hilarious when Gary was losing his good acts like Carolynne, Melanie and Kye and she was not getting touched with her acts but as soon as Ella went Tulisa starts shouting her mouth off about the public not voting for the best singers. So why did she save Rylan over Kye only a few weeks ago herself. She needs to stop acting like a spoilt brat when things dont go her way and in future save the better singer not vote for somebody who just entertains her and who she has gone out socialising with!

Tulisa has been a disgrace this year and the X factor has gone down the pan because of the producers interferring with the saving of the last two like when the producer was whispering in Louis ear in the first week when Louis really wanted to save Carolynne but had to take it to deadlock because the producers new that Rylan had more votes!

I will never vote for this show again when we all know it is so fixed. Plus Simon Cowell will only give any decent backing to singers who he likes and not who the public actually vote for. Joe McElderry was a typical example. When Leona Lewis won the show Simon Cowell pulled out all the stops and spent a fortune on great writers for her first albumn and she worked in America for some time but all Joe got was old songs re released on his first albumn. Joe is very talented but Simon Cowell did not give him the same backing as the likes of Leona or even Olly Muirs who came 2nd to Joe!

Fingers crossed that you are right and that it is Tulisas last year. She has looked so miserable most weeks and looks like she doesnt want to be there!

I would love to see Cheryl back but after what Simon did to her in America I cannot see it happening, especially as Girls Aloud are back together too! Cheryl and Gary would be a great mix for me!

By the way, the likes of Joe and Ella have been two of my favourite singers alongside Leona and Laura White! Joe was also a very popular winner that year and got many, many more votes than Olly that year!

    Cheryl over Tulisa anyday.

I like Tulisa last year but she has gone down in my estimations.

I thought Cowell was scrapping the barrel when he chose her. But he has now geared the show to cater for the teenage viewer.

I remember right before she became a judge, her and her band were constantly in the papers slagging the show off for being to manufactured :D
