Paprika flavoured crisps

Since Tesco have decided not to deliver my paprika flavour Crunchips for the last two weeks, I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations about different brands that could replace it.

Preferably not relying on that overhyped supermarket chain.

I'm aware of Walkers Max and Pringles but they're just not the same.

I now get my supply of paprika crisps online, from Amazon sometimes I get a box of the walkers MAX other times I get Lorenz Pomsticks Paprika which are incredibly Moorish, I do believe Lidle sometimes stock paprika flavour Crunchips and they are also quite Moorish

Those pomsticks look interesting, I might order some. I used to get paprika crisps from Lidl, a few years ago, but they stopped selling them, I'll have a look in and see what I can find.

    Thanks.

If you have any Polish shops nearby give them a try - paprika crisps are popular on the continant.

They're utterly fab. I either buy mine in Tesco's or buy in Poland and bring back, either the crisps or the sticks - actually haven't seen the sticks here, only in Poland. Aldi may also sell paprika crisps if they're popular in Germany.

If Tesco's don't have the in stock and no Polish shops nearby, try some non-chain off licences - my local offy sells Polish crisps and beer - on the subject of which I can heartedly recommend Zywiec or Tyskie as an accompaniment to paprika crisps.

I have a Polish shop on the next street and they sell the Polish version of Lays crisps and Paprika flavour is my favourite. A big bag around 100g for 99p.

frit-sticks are the best but I don't think you can get them in the UK. I like Ruffles which I sometimes get from Asda, think are are made by Walkers.

My local Lidl doesn't have any paprika crisps. I think I'll order a box of Pomsticks.

Bought some Lays Paprika from Tesco. Had my first try last night.

My initial reaction was that they reminded me of Walkers BBQ but less sickly.
They have a nice flavour, not too strong. Would be nice if they had a bit of heat to them.

Also the Lays crisps are better than Walkers. They are just slightly thicker and make for a far better crisp.

I haven't tried the Ruffles I bought from ASDA.

I will also have to get some Lays "Spring Onion" from Tesco. I searched for the name (Polish I assume) and it seems to be that flavour.

Just had some of the Ruffles. They are sweeter than the Lays (AFAICR).

They are quite thin and have a nice texture for a crinkle cut crisp.

My local Tesco has the Crunchips back in stock. I think the Crunchips have a stronger flavour than the Crusti Croc. Of course from what I remember there's more in a Crusti Croc bag.

Agree with others, try any of the foreign specialist grocery shops. I also saw the special offer in Lidl's leaflet this week or last.

What annoys me is when the paprika crisps taste like standard bbq ones!

Check out these from Asda too.

Have you tried buying a plain bag of crisps and and sprinkling on paprika? I had some walkers salt and shakes and instead of the salt I sprinkled on paprika and they were lovely. I also used the Nandos chip seasoning and that's lovely too
