Like it says in the subject line... it's in a sorry state and in a few bits. I doubt the barcode can be scanned. I can just about make out all the numbers.
Oh, and it would be a problem if it wasn't a winning ticket! I shan't say how much lest it colours your advice!
What can I do? I don't think a retailer will entertain me.

I was only joking about that bit...
Just that bit?
OK... and if it's just a tenner?
No there are a couple of other bits too...

OK thanks - I might just send them the damaged ticket to the address you've found and hopefully they will send me a crisp tenner in return.
Probably nothing to lose in doing that, but I'd just try assembling as many bits on my scanner as possible and send them that in the first instance...
If it's just a tenner then you can't claim that money in a shop unless the bar code is able to be scanned. No shop will give you money unless their lottery machine is able to scan the ticket and, for that, the bar code needs to be in pretty good condition.
I doubt it will scan - ticket is in bits. Torn through the barcode.
Good luck.... nothing to lose a 38p stamp for a tenner!
