  I take it you have an old surround system with no HDMI?
  You can get One of these for the WII.
  There are scart to HDMI converters, but, to be honest you would probably be better updating your Surround system. Even a cheap new system has HDMI as the AV in/output...

  lol. its a new system. I plugged in the hdmi cable which did nothing

  Well perhaps you need to find out why that is instead of messing about with inferior connections....
