What music do you like that's considered "un-cool" or "old fogey" music?

Although I am approaching 30 and stopped caring what anyone else thought about my tastes years ago, I thought this might be a fun topic.
What music do you listen to that might cause the young 'uns or people who only like what the charts/radio deems as "cool" to look at you like you're a saddo/weirdo?
Personally, I've got looks from people when I say I like Bette Midler, Bananarama, and Aiden Grimshaw. Okay, so I can understand Bananrama and Aiden being laughed at - although in fairness Aiden's "Misty Eye" album is a million miles away from anything he did on the X-Factor and is quality work - but Bette Midler? I don't want to live in a world where Bette Midler is un-cool.
What about you?

I'm 23 and I'm the same. Though there is some fabulous modern music out there if you dig a little deeper then what is in the charts. I tend to just like what I like and ignore what era its from or what is supposed to be 'current'.
I do the same. Let the sheep follow the next "trendy" artist or band. I remember having an argument with some of my friends over music a while back. One of my favourite bands is not very well-known and you can't buy their music in shops. I was introducing them to a friend of mine and the girl said they were crap because they're not famous
I despair.
At me or the people I had the argument with?
Agree! I do like some chart music, but not much of it. I'd say 95% of the charts is filled with absolute shit. I actively despair when I see some of the mainstream artists who the media are raving about...I wonder how stuff like it could ever become popular, let alone so successful.
Don't worry, my sisters 9 and loves cliff richard
I find that strangely adorable.
The Sisters of Mercy - more popular with the over-40s.
Adam Ant - as above.
What's worse is that it was when I was studying music at college.
True. I love Motown and crank it up, cause it is CLASS. The Supremes alone >>>>2013
I like that Touch Me song she did. I don't know any of her others.
