Marvel Comics at the movies: what's your favourite?
Our Movies Editor Simon has put together a gallery of most Marvel movies, past and present:
[news]Marvel Comics at the movies: 'X-Men', 'Spider-Man', 'Thor' and more[/news]We're wondering: which Marvel Comics movie franchise is your favourite? ('Franchise' because listing each individual movie would make a very big poll!)
I've separated Hulk/The Incredible Hulk because the latter is a reboot.

They didnt explain Hulks origin again in part 2..
I think Punisher:war zone was just as much a reboot as Incredible Hulk
they kind of did in the opening Credits(shows bruce's gamma radiation accident and initial transformation into the Hulk) but it also starts in South America so could be used as a loose continuation if they wanted but i tend to forget the Ang Lee film,as i prefer the 2008 film(it reminds me more of the old TV show)
Indeed. I'd rather not have, it was a very poor film - but it is a continuation of the same franchise/marvel universe...
Spiderman, X Men and Iron Man suffered with poor sequels after spectacular first outings.
For the record I thought Thor was really quite pointless(much like his band of god buddies) and Eric Bana's Hulk was deplorable.
Hoping to be entertained by Capt America tomorrow night.
EDIT: Buggrit. It was multiple choice.
I wouldn't want anybody to think that I liked Spiderman 3.
This should be an interesting poll since you can multiple vote.
The X-men films I love too, including the third, though that's mainly due to Ellen Page being in it
Thought Thor was a great film too, think he's my favourite superhero now.
I think Both Hulk films have been good. the 2nd was slightly better.but i dont understand the dislike for the first one
I think we can blame Twentieth Century Fox's marketing department for that. Still, it didn't do badly considering it was an all new cast.
I'm sure the sequel will perform much better.
X-Men First Class, Spiderman 2 and Thor, are pretty much tied for 2nd
In my case it was all those multiple screens. They just drove me mad.
Just don't think the cinema going public were quite ready for such a deep, existential, tragedy of a movie when they were just probably expecting a big-screen version of the Bill Bixby tv show. It was essentially an art house film from an art house director. However, there was still much to enjoy by true comic-book fans; I didn't mind the split-screen comic panels, myself. The desert tank attack sequence was brilliant. Shame about the hulk-dogs, the barely discernible cloud-thing / fight at the end and the low-key performances by Bana and Connelly.
Marvel were brave to take a chance on Ang Lee, but can see why a far more conventional (and action-orientated) approach, was taken for the reboot.
The mulitple screens is one of the things i like most about it...the editing was oscar worthy, i thought it was innovative how they stylised it to look like comic book panels.
