Welcome Rachel !

This is a great repository of Madeley Partridgisms. I think they've both given up now the end is in sight. I cringed yesterday when they had "hot new band"(c) Alpha Beat on.

But today, I gave up when Nick Ford-Fiesta came on, and I knew Jeffrey Archer was up next

I remember the power cut, from memory I think they were a shambles but it was slightly better than the day before when they seemed even more all over the place.

The business with Alpha Beat was so bad, I think mainly because Richard seemed to think they couldn't speak English and decided to patronise them the entire time but then nothing new there!

Nick Ford Fiesta is a brilliant name for him! I hate how he's always on it giving his opinions about everything, he's probably as bad as Paul Ross.

Love this Partridgism -

He confounded Sex Pistol John Lydon with the musing: "If I could throw a fishing rod into the corridors of time and reel you in, you'd throttle you, wouldn't you?"

makes perfect sense!

I also liked the bit yesterday when he was challenging Chris Packham to tell him which predator will be at the top of the food chain if we all became extinct tomorrow, and his genuine amazement/incredulity that cockroaches have been around since before the dinosaurs. This pointless conjecture conjured up images of Partridge wondering what we'll all look like in a billion years ("look in the back of a spoon!")

Their stuff really is 4am Radio Norwich filler material! I wonder if they'll consider radio when their run comes to an end.

I remember him on This Morning and they had Eddie Grant on and Dick said

"You havent changed!"
Eddy thanked him and then Dicky said
"I hope when i am reincarnated i come back black because you age better!"

Oh my lord i thought. Eddie laughed, in a "You nob " kind of way.

It used to be said that everyone looked like Pete Townshend, if they looked in the back of a spoon.

I'd love it if Dicky was on the radio - it would be the unintentionally funniest thing on in years.

Is anyone watching Dicky today - he's being extremely AP!

There is a spectacular AP moment where Richard mis-hears what Judy says to David Walliams and challenges her, completely disregarding the fact that he is undermining her by trying to point out her 'mistake', and that he is making himself look a twonk for being wrong anyway.

He also says about his parents not knowing 'Larry Grayson was 'grey'!

Imagine the money they'd make releasing a DVD with all these on!
Be top of the charts for months!

Madeley's greatest hits great idea.

Another one .... "If you'd told me that pouring ice cold water over your knackers helped you get the wife pregnant I wouldn't ever have believed it. But I did and it worked. Improves the sperm count."

I like Judy's shaking hands and Richard's wildly flapping ones.

My partner calls them Di**head ( and sometimes Pr**khead) and Booby.

MADELY IN HEAVEN!
Last week we included a great quote from the legendary Richard Madeley and asked you to send in your favourite moments (The Ali G one is banned) - you came up trumps:

1. Some guest scientist talking about monkeys. Talk got onto chimps, and scientist says as an aside, "Actually, they're the only animal with a bone in their penis." Richard looks wistful, stares into middle distance and says "lucky lady chimps..."

2. Another guest, talking about a frozen pre-historic body of a man that was discovered wearing women's clothes.

"Do you think it was his mates having a laugh?"

Guest: "Erm, I'm not sure people would treat a dead body as 'a laugh'."

3. My favourite Richard Madely moment was when they were interviewing 'Primordial Dwarves' (incredibly tiny people, the size of children's dolls but with protruding teeth, who were the subjects of a C4 documentary that night).

In probably my favourite patronising TV moment ever, Richard asked...

"Do you find that people patronise you?"

(Then he added in a louder voice)

"THAT MEANS THAT THEY TALK DOWN TO YOU!"

OMG that is so funny

Richard is so wired, he needs to cut down on the caffeine or other upper he is on

No wonder she shakes - he make me all jangly in a bad way too.

I saw the cringe-a-thon Dwarf interview. It was funny and appalling all at once.
