I read Naomi Campbell got the elbow from Jay-Z's Glastonbury afterparty, but does anyone know if UK rap royalty Ricky "who da man RB?" Blackwood got in there?
![]() .... and are the rumours of him blasting around Somerset raising havoc at many a drive through Maccy D's with Beyonce and Jay in a pimped out Citroen Saxo true ? ![]() ![]()

RB and Jay Z go waaaaaaaaay back. Back when Jay Z was just breaking out here in the UK in 1999, and Richard Blackwood worked as a teaboy for the Channel 5 revival of It's A Knockout, they used to terrorize the streets of Peckham in Blackwood's kitted up Vauxhall Nova whilst the sounds of The Fugees were blasting out of Blackwood's tape deck.
Classic times. |

I thought you'd know Homer
![]() ![]() Probably just as well it stayed out the papers. Jay could do with a bit of press over here, RB was good enough to keep it all hush hush then. About them going waaaay back, I heard WOOT WOOT Ricky was a key fixer in getting Jay to Glasto! Good work Rich You Da Man !

They don't call Gaffers and Wellard "Team Bring Your Daughter To The Slaughter" for nothing!

Looking at Wellard's credits on wikipedia she has also been in ....
A Touch of Frost, 102 Dalmations, The Jonny Vaughan Show, and Gladiator. Gaffers - sack your bloody agent, and get in with the Mutt's showbiz agency. The hound does more graft than you, and arguably has a harder stereotype (i.e. it can only do 'dog' although both sexes) to get over than you. I am disappointed after reading this. It's obvious you were acting with the Richard Burton of the canine world, but pick yourself up now !

My favourite memory of RB is seeing him sift his own feces on Celebrity Detox.

Speaking of RB, I saw his single "Mama Who Da Man" for sale for 20p in Cash Converters today. I didn't pick it up, because I hate how Cash Converter labels are impossible to get off, and I got Outkast's Stankonia album for 75p instead. Plus that 20p really could come in handy one day.

Chris Waddle & Glenn Hoddle's Diamond Lights...The Rednex' Cotton Eye Joe...that one where the morbidly obese black lady sang "Don't mess with my toot-toot". 75pence for Stankonia? Back of the net! |

Weird. Isn't he married with kid to the girl he met at school, before he was famous and earning any money?

So...that Richard Blackwood eh? He's in the new Shrek Musical as Donkey.
Looks like his dreams of being the new Eddie Murphy have come true at long last. |

I can just imagine Blackwood in a donkey costume just crawling around on his hands and knees on a filthy stage now.
Epic. |
