Nice? Dale Winton on a plane. (Sounds like a horror film). Constantly "on" but very friendly. Spent a lot of time smoking and screeching in the back row with the Virgin trolley dollies (some time ago obviously).
Vainest, smuggest, nastiest? Toss-up between Bill Oddie and that c*** Baldrick. |

i was in a restaurant a few years ago in dublin and louis walsh was sitting at a table beside us. a good few adults who were there with their kids accompanied their child to his table to ask for an autograph (this is mid-meal) and from what i saw, he smiled, chatted and signed all autograph requests. i thought that was very sweet.
my mum was in hospital some time ago and there was a little girl in the bed beside her. she was crying so i asked her gran what was wrong and she told me that the girl had tickets to see westlife but that she would now miss it coz she was in hospital. i thought it was so sad for the kid so i went away, managed to get the number of the telephone backstage at the point (dublin venue where westlife were playing). i rang and nicky (nikki? don't know the spelling) but anyway, he answered and i asked him if he'd take a minute to ring the hospital and speak to the girl (i didn't know who he was, not being a fan, and i said first off could he give a message to westlife and he told me he was in the band ). anyway, they were due to go on but he actually rang the hospital - i had previously rang the ward and got the nurse to have the girl by the phone - and he rang and chatted to her (to her absolute delight) and he told her she could use her tickets to any of their gigs and then sent her backstage passes for herself, her mum, her friend and her friend's mum, for when she could go. the wee girl sent me a cute little gift to say thanks and pics showing herself and her little friend with the boys. so though i am not a fan, i thought that was so sweet of him to do.

^ Katie, that was a lovely thing to do.
![]() There was a lady who used to be in Brookside and used to present that 60 Minute Challenge programme on ITV afternoons... I'm thinking her name was Claire something... Anyway I was amazed to see her walking up the road to my local station as I was walking down! It's like seeing a tv actress in the local corner shop!! Anyway she must had realised that I was looking at her like 'I know the face from somewhere...' and just smiled sweetly. Great persona. |

![]() Edited to say, that reminds me of when I was at Wimbledon years and years ago & the late Max Bygraves was in the VIP box. Kids were coming up to ask for autographs (in between sets so not interrupting his viewing) and he just waved them away with a hand, didn't even speak to them.

I think that Nicholas Lyndhurst is probably one of the actors who genuinely really would prefer not to be recognised or publicised at all. After all, he has been an extremely high profile comedy actor for many years now and you don't see him doing interviews or photoshoots or anything of that kind. So funny that the poor guy ends up making himself more obvious. Must be a hell of a thing to cope with, being recognised if you are a genuinely private person. |

I met Barrack Obama in Tescos and I can say he was a lovely gentleman who even let me go ahead of him in the queue as I only had a tin of tuna and some potato twirlers. On the other hand I met that Gordon Brown in Waitrose and he needs to learn some manners. He was so stuckup and he spoke in a foreign way that I could not understand a word.
I hope one day to meet Pam St Clements down the aisles in Wilkonsons, Aldershot. When that day happenes I will die a very happy woman. Thankyou |

Bruno Brookes was the one really horrible celeb I met when he was breakfast DJ at Radio 1 - at a Radio 1 Roadshow. My friends and I were being a bit silly and asked for a kiss and then a male mate said ooohh can I have a kiss too and he lost his temper and shouted "I'm not ****ing gay. **** off!"
Absolutely lovely Mark Owen - really sweet and was just on his way off to supermarket but stopped and chatte dto me. I was coincidentally driving past his flat when he was just going out so I stopped. He was lovely. Met quite a few of Hollyoaks actors - nicest blokes I've met from soap. Especially Guy Burnet who sat with us for 2 hours after the last match at Warrington. Really welcoming and lovely with his fans. Soft spot for James Sutton who is a total sweetheart as well. And Barry Sloane (Niall) who is really sweet - bumped into him and then James at V Fest when they were off duty and both were lovely and actually stopped us to chat. Not impressed Ryan Thomas was a total ****** at a charity footie match where he was headlining this summer. Didn't sign an autograph as far as I'm aware and made people wait around for him and then just went out back door and drove off tooting his horn. There were young girls crying coz he'd promised to meet them and didn't. BUT at same match Ralf Little was a star running round signing and having pics taken, and Ricky Whittle (Calvin) and Carley Stenson (Steph) off Hollyoaks came to chat to people and made up for what the other one was like. ![]() I really dislike actors and z list BB people who look right through you like you're beneath them. Have tried to talk to a couple of of people who did that. It's very rude. ![]() My gran met Paul Newman at a hotel and he was the nicest bloke she'd met she said. He made a big fuss of her dog and chatted for ages. this was at the height of his career in the 60s so says a lot for the rude z listers who need to learn a few manners. |

When I was a child I met Princess Diana twice, both times an outstanding memory. Also met Charles and Camilla - he was abrupt and she looked at me as though I'd farted in her face. Come to think of it, next time I have the misfortune to meet her, I might just do that very thing

Anymore juicy 'ms Black' stories? There was an intresting article floating about a few months ago about how nasty she was. Even the person interviewing her seemed quite shocked by her attitude! but it's dissapeared.
