Interesting, as vocally they are 2 of the most talented. Jermaine without question. John too, although he is prone to making mistakes.

I thought Jermaine sounded better today, but his style is more suitable for a jazz/blues night club.

Agree that neither of them are any worse than the others, but John is a bit too uninteresting to have captured people's attention and Jermaine I find a bit cringey myself.

On another note, how cheesy is ol Gokey?!?

And Michelle was so out of tune all through her song on Wednesday, yet the judges praised her to the hilt. I thought either my ears or TV or both must have something wrong.

Simon made a comment that he'd watched the shows back and realised they'd made a terrible mistake with one contestant who was much worse than they'd noticed in the studio, then Kara said she'd watched it back too and thought Michelle would go, out of her and Didi because her performance was not as good as they thought.

Kind of weird that out of both the boys and the girls, out of the order they performed in, the two that performed 2nd (John and Haeley) and the two that performed 6th (Jermaine and Michelle) were eliminated.

Last week Ashley and Janell performed next to eachother, while Joe and Tyler performed next to eachother. Those four were eliminated.

I wonder what pattern will emerge from the next eliminations so that I can dream up some kind of conspiracy theory to fit it.
