I'm finding it a little patronising that the BBC feel th need to blur out genitals in a post 9pm show on a minority channel.

In any case the "rugby lads" seemed like complete bellends, while the ones from Blackpool seemed okay.

I don't think it's anything about patronising, you just wanted to see the guys cocks didn't you?

Their might have been a possiblity that the girls tried to contact their parents but the lads in the show seemed like typical 'Jack-the-lads' / party animals (especially Joe) so I doubt any of them contacted their parents whilst they were on holiday.
I think you're forgetting what it was like to be 18. Most 18 year olds rely on their parents for EVERYTHING. From their food to their washing to being driven about to pocket money.

You;re talking about children who have just turned legal. If a parent doesn't make sure their 18 year old child gets in touch with them at least every second day on holiday on their own then they are not fit to be called parents.

If the 18 year old didnt have much support from their parent;s (like I, as I wouldn't care what my parents thought of me on holiday) then they wouldnt be a candidate for said programme.

I went in the summer of 08, mind I was 15 at the time, and I went with the parents and my sister (we didn't know it would be the way it was), and i went out every night... best holiday ever!!

I'm not watching now, I'm watching the later repeat on BBC Three because I am watching Gypsy Wedding. I loved Kavos, and I am going to Magaluf in July, but I want yo go back to Kavos next year, as well as going to places like Malia too.

These results really do look trashy don't they.

I'm 18 and I do like travel but I think I'll be giving the "resorts" featured in these shows a miss. It's like Blackpool with sunstroke.

Oh gawd, you always see the families or older couples and feel really sorry for them! Mis-sold holiday of the highest order Atleast it was alright for you though! A friend of mine went when she was 15 as well and had the time of her life (although it did kick-start the horrendous coke habit she's now manage to kick... but that's another story).

I first went in 07 and been in 09, 10 and * might* go this year. It's the roughest place on earth but I just love it. I love the constant nightly street parties, foam parties, filthy cheap drinks. Ahhh it's making me reminisce!

It depends really, if you do what I do it';s better... just drink but don't overdo it with being sick and feeling ill... drink enough to have a good time. It's the best way. Kavos was the friendliest place I have been (apart from my home town in Sicily). I could walk around alone at 4am and not worry about anything.

Yes, it worked out very well for me. And i will go back there soon! On my list is Malia, Zante, Napa, Ibiza and Bulgaria, after I do Magaluf (which is my first friends holiday). It's all so cheap, I was always either in Buzz or Edelweiss Bar all the time. And we got brilliant offers on drinks. I just find it such a friendly environment... except for the people that try and sell you the roses and want your money......

I'm sure they're friendly and I do like drinking (alot) but I just don't know you'd go to somewhere there is only other English people. Where is the adventure in thay?!

Malia, Kavos, Magaluf, Aya Napa, Faliraki.... none of them can hold a candle to Ibiza.

True. Maybe because for me, I had to visit Sicily ever year from my birth to I was 14 years old... and no one was English (apart from my cousins/friends that were there to also visit relatives)... so I did miss the English people... so It's quite refreshing to have someone to talk to in English. Also been to Paris (no English people) and Tenerife (a fair amount). I'm full Italian so I don't watch football matches in pubs, like the stereotypical British male, I don't support any English teams either, I just enjoy their company.

Obviously after my "clubbing stage" that I am going through, when I am older, I want to visit other places and explore different cultures.

Magaluf is good, felt a bit let down by Napa though

Buzz is immense, favourite place on the strip bar none.

The places further up towards where McDonalds and off to the left are good for warming up or having a quieter night away from the strip. Every night we went to 'John's Karaoke Fun Pub'; I'd get drunk on the €1 drinks then barely drink anything on the strip, just dance - pretty bad for spiking you see and I have a really bad habit (here and abroad) of leaving my drink somewhere unattended.

The only bad experience I've had was entirely my fault. I was doing what the guy last week was doing 'Minesweeping' which is just stupid. I was so ill it was unreal.

The big drawback for me is the fact it's the straightest place on earth, not a hope in hell of pulling!

Haha I visit Italy a lot also (I'm half-Italian) and lived there (and in Lebanon also) from age 7 though 12, so I guess I've always had that kind of adventurous spirit in me. I mean Lebanon is hardly top most people's Holiday Hitlist but it's amazing.
I like clubbing but love music so whilst most people were saving money for Magaluff and that me and my girlfriend were saving money to go to a folk music festival in Sweden!
Different strokes I think- reminds of Holiday Showdown when they put two people with totally different holiday ideas and make them live each one.

Yes, I never left my drink because I was scared of that. Oh yes, went past Madonalds and went to SOS Bar (in which me and my sister and her mates did karaoke, and cleared the place out)

Then went to the clubs where you have to pay (only twice).

Ooo, minesweeping", yes very bad idea mate. Won't be doing that for that very reason of spiking.

Is there that kebab called "Kebab Innit" (as you went last year), laughed every time I passed that

What puts me off Ibiza is the absolutely scandalous prices. It's €30-50 to get in somewhere then god knows how much for a drink. Would go if I wasn't a student!

No don't do it (minesweeping). I was out of my mind at the time, been on the booze cruise throughout the day and carried on when we got back!

Yerr Kebab Innit is still there. I got addicted to the "Authentic Greek Cuisine" of chicken and chips with mayo in a pitta bread last time. Put half a stone on in that week - no wonder.

McDonalds was shut down last year. Hygiene reasons! I got thrown out of KFC as well for going behind the counter and taking orders. The owner didn't like it. Classy I know but I don't care, I go to "let my hair down" and behave in a way I judge other people for in the UK.
