I purchased Nuts this week, which was on the top shelf. The old gent standing next to me gave me evils.

I wouldn't buy anything stronger really, just because I can find it on the internet for free. Plus I have a sort of on/off boyfriend who is 'totally gay', and he wouldn't appreciate me buying them. He doesn't like me getting Nuts really, but still.
Funny.. I would much prefer my boyfriend to buy a proper porno mag than Nuts or Zoo - I find those absolutely VILE! I think it's the really sexist wording and making out they're all fantastic "babes" when they're all fake eyelashes, nails, hair, tan.... etc etc.

I do like proper porno mags though - I sometimes buy hardcores ones from a sex shop in Notts.

Never have, never will do.

Sex on paper doesn't do it for me.

Indeed. Nuts and Zoo are 'sad lads wank mags', bought by guys who are just too scared to buy a 'real' porno mag.

I used to buy Nuts and Zoo, I could never buy any of that harcore porn, I just find it too explicit and in your face, it doesn't turn me on at all but everyone is different I guess. Nowadays when I want porn I just use the internet, I prefer porn videos to pictures.

Why would you pay for still images when you can videos for free on the internet and not have to get out of your seat. But I suppose you become hardened (for want of a better word) to more and more hardcore porn. The stuff in the magazines just doesn't do it for me.

You'd be mad to wouldn't you?!
Anyone here who has??
I have subscribed to porn websites a few times. For example, VideoBox. I've not had any problem: they are a regular business who make money from selling a product, not from ripping off credit cards. The notion that anyone who deals with porn must be immoral and a thief is just a prejudice against sex.

Yes, I used to buy mags, now I just type 'girls' into google, with filtering off. more free stuff than I could ever view in a lifetime.
However, I found for me, that I got sick of the HC stuff, close ups of various orifices doesnt do it for me, and I got sick off seeing blokes bums pumping up and down when I wanted to see the girl. I now never watch any porn that has men in it.
I find now I prefer girls on their own or together. and eye contact. ie the girl looks at the camera a lot whilst performing.

But anyway...I can get all I want on the internet now mostly for free. I did subscribe to FTV girls site last year because their videos tend to have minimum close ups and many beautiful girls, no men(except for their HC section, which I ignore). A years subs cost me the equivalent of about 4 glossy porn mags and I got something like 200 hours of video to watch and almost 140,000 still images. over 500 girls.

I still buy Men Only every 4 weeks without fail.
Internet porn will never replace a glossy mag full of attractive naked ladies.

Fab.
I agree, you can't hide a computer screen under your bed, then hold it close and play with yourself can you? I know they are working on computer screens to be thinner but that's just being silly. Even if you did have one like that, it would probably cost the earth and you would be too scared to jizz on it!

I've never bought a porn mag in my life but I had one given to me at work which I told my brother about and when I was on the toilet, he knocked on the door and asked "Where's that jazz mag?", I told him, "under my bed", he must have locked himself in his room for a couple of hours.

I once went for a sperm test, and as you can imagine, they needed a sample. They left me in a room on my own with a jazz mag and a sample pot. Needless to say it all went okay.

Gay mags are hard to find due to most of the local newsagents closing due to tescos and sainsburys.

I went to Clone Zone and they used to have shelves full of them but these days it seems gay dudes prefer DVDs.

Are gay mags even legal?

I heard under porn laws or something, they can't print a phallus. Whereas with women they can print everything!

When I was a teenager in the late eighties/early nineties, they used to put black dots over the sexy bits but these days they don't bother.

totally agree..and why would people pay-subscribe to porn channels on tv or online when theres free sites like Redtube and Youporn with many different categories to cater to many tastes(pardon the pun)
also watching in the privacy of your own home has much less stigma attached than sneaking furtively into a newsagents and sneaking a snatch mag into your newspaper before you pay for it...i worked in a newsagents years ago and it was always embarrassed middle aged guys who bought them.

Maybe that's where they still have their uses

They must do, but I'm guessing not as many people do now as there seems to be less of them. My local shop used to have an entire top shelf of them. Now it has three or four titles and doesn't even bother putting them on the top shelf anymore.

No!! you have it ll wrong. The stuff is L.E.P or Light Emitting Polymer.

This stuff is ideal it's the same thickness of a laminated piece of paper, with all the same properties i.e. (wipe clean) with none abrasive cleaning fluids.

I though that would be ideal in this situation

And after the fact that once mass produced like everything the cost keeps coming down it will be the answer to the 5 fingered shufflers prayers.

Serious question.

Now i'm not being nosey or pervy and asking if you buy them. What i am wondering is do publishers make any money from them any more like in days gone by when they would offer some celeb $1,000,000 to pose knowing that people would buy.
Why not ask the publishers or google it on t'internet.

Men above a certain age will have had many of the same experiences when it come to porno mags. The stash in the shed or hidden in the allotments or the fave ones under the matress.

Now the serious point though is that for all the posturing is that I was brought on with porno mags be that the handful of hardcore ones that came of the ships (as I lived in Hull) as a kid to Mayfair/Penthouse/Playboy (the classy ones)

I think I am a reasonably well adjusted member of society even though from about 13 upwards I have had some form of adult material aorund.

A Judicial Review in 2000 relaxed the rules to allow hardcore magazines and videos. Even before then, softcore gay mags were around.

I don't think it works like that, and even if it did, I doubt printed porn is more hardcore then online porn.
