Well BBC Might not have a contract with the film makers for this premier.
Indeed. I seem to recall they have a contract with dreamworks animation... and even for some dreamworks films... as well as disney.

C4 have paramount and fox if I'm not mistaken.

I'm sure Untraceable has been shown on UK terrestrial TV before.

Also, how did you get this info, or are you guessing what they'll show soon?

I think you are getting itv confused with c4. Sure c4 will have to air it with ad breaks... its a commercial tv channel... But they rarely (note the word 'rarely') cut films to bits. In fact, of the main channels they are the best at showing movies in their CORRECT RATIO and UNCUT.

ITV on the other hand... Well I really do not know why they even bother.

The BBC already has a contract with Disney... That must have cost them a few bob. Unfortunately, ITV have a contract with warner bros... I dread to think what they'll do when they show The Dark Knight... They'll probably put it throw the shredder.
A 12 cert at 6.30pm? They'll cut it. CH4 cut The Search For Spock a while back during the afternoon and that's a PG.

ITV will probably put The Dark Knight on starting at 9pm and stick the 45 min long 10pm news in the middle of it.

Not that I thought anything of The Dark Knight, but thank God for downloads for the bigger films.

"G-Force"

Neither am I. Thought it was exceptional; very witty with an excellent script and fitting actors. That rare combination of being watchable to all and probably more than satisfactory to the 10's of millions of "Trekkies".

I would definitely say that The Dark Knight should be on ITV soon, and Ratatouille should premiere on BBC1 around Christmas, they usually show one or two Pixar films around then. I can see Ice Age 3 being on one of the terrestrial channels at Christmas, but I don't know which one. Channel 5 showed the first film a few weeks ago, and I think ITV1 or 2 was the last channel to show the second. And I can also see Channel 4 showing Shoot 'Em Up some time soon.

I'm surprised Revenge Of The Fallen didn't premier when the new Transformers movie was released in cinemas.

Also, I think One Missed Call has been on before.

I thought the remake had been on Channel 5 late last year/earlier this year. I didn't watch it but I'm sure it has.

Nope, I'm 100% sure it's a premiere. I just checked and it hasn't been shown yet.

Has terrible reviews though so I probably won't bother. No wonder they are burning it off at 11pm midweek...

For anyone who wants to sit through Revenge of the Fallen next Sunday, 2hrs and 50 mins is a bit of a mission to put it mildly.

I can't understand why CH4 are showing these 12 cert films so early in the evening. We all know ROTK will be cut just as Star Trek was tonight.

I wonder how long Watchmen will be on for when they show that? It's around 155 minutes plus ad breaks, so probably three hours

They showed it a few weeks ago....can't remember how long it was on for, but it might have been just over 3 hours.

I think I remember now. I'd forgotten though. What time was it on, was it cut at all?

No it wasn't cut. I sky +'d it and it was just over 3 hours long... And I felt it... I had to watch it over two nights.
