I swore I'd never visit Chin's dungeon again but, in your case, I'll make an exception.
Must remember where I've put my leopard catsuit and then hop along to Garrard's.

You shouldn't put yourself down like that, Martin.

Anybody been listening to Anth's shows lately?
Think he maybes back on form with some nice cosy slippers topics,
the 'old man' stutter seems to have calmed down a bit too

I had no idea that LBC was available nationwide - someone on the Talksport thread mentioned it. Have been dipping in for a few days now. Fairly impressed - It sure beats the dross of Five Live between 2 and 4pm.
The tendency of the ads to hint at the North/South divide are fun.....
"Send us your high class wristwatch in our pre-paid envelope for an immediate offer"
Er...Ok. Will do.

Welcome to the thread and LBC. Glad you found it and are enjoying it. You have very good taste! Have you picked up on any presenter in particular. And how far north are you? Not all of us Londoners have drawers full of spare Rolexes!

Morning all.

Lovely to have the Max back, soothing us into the day. I like Petrie but she's a bit shouty for early morning. Poor poppet, he's being v. brave over his broken shoulder and it's generated some funny calls and texts about self-inflicted injuries.

It's available Worldwide. People often call in from the US and Iain Dale had a couple of calls from Greece a few evenings ago.

Anthony has an atlas on his blog, which has pins
for where some of his calls have come from- incredible! worldwide is certainly the case-but he has yet to break into Russia and Greenland

Another excellent show from Ken 'n Dave. I think the great joy of it is that they actually listen, both to each other and to their guests. You can practically hear them thinking and weighing their replies. No shouting and arguing, just civilised discussion. Other presenters should listen and learn.

That's a very good point.
Other presenters, please take note (not you, Iain. I know you do!)
What a lovely day today!

Thank you gurney-slade. Listening here in Manchester. Not sure who is who just yet except for Iain Dale who I have seen on the Sky News press preview.

So that was Ken's last show. As the purdah period doesnt start until mid March I though he might have had a few more weeks left.

Ken and Dave have made some great radio. My personal feelings about the woman aside, Im not convinced there will be the same chemistry between Dave and Jacqui.

Of course - I am very lovable.

Twinks can do the page 3 thingy, though - my tottering is not up to scratch.

Happy Saturday All.

Nooo! I didn't hear the end of the show. Did he mention whether he'll be back if he loses the election? It won't be the same without him. I'm not sure if I can pay the price of listening to JS in order to hear DM. I'll give it a go but....

He probably wouldn't admit there is a chance of failure!

I presume if Boris lost, he wouldn't team with DM because they are on the same side politically.

Much as I support Boris, I couldn't stand listening to him stuttering and chortling. And I think he's got his eye on bigger things - like No. 10.

Via Reigate and Banstead, if the rumours are to be believed. Lucky me.

Will miss old Ken on a Saturday morning.

Hi . Yes LBC is a very good listen 2-4pm you must be listening to Julia Hartley-Brewer not a bad listen at all.

I do like radio five live but talkSport have gone down the pan with about 19 hours of sport a day and very little Talk.

Myself have been listening to LBC for 36 years through the good times and bad.

The advert for watches caught my ear and i sent mine in it did not even cover the postage.
