Well it looks like Delta are very keen on getting ChuckleVision onto dvd because they are apparently considering to release two more series next year!

Ok but this is not completely offical yet and I don't want it going too far.

Yes hopefully Series 2 will be out in the Spring and Series 3 hopefully in the Autumn time but as I said before...nothing has been confirmed yet!!

Hope they do release more series on DVD.

Had never seen series one before it was released on DVD. Never seen any of series two.

I remember recording series three when it originally aired in 1989/1990, but I stupidly taped over it in 2000, so to see them again would be great.

Too bad about that. Nevermind anyway. I have seen all of them except Home Helpless. And we will be able to see them in dvd quality. Do you know whether Cabbies and Chips was longer than it was on cbbc a few years ago & Did they ever speak over the ending credits if you can remember, but I don't think they did because someone put two on YouTube a couple of months ago and they didn't. At least you didn't tape over Series 11

The difference is one is for kids where repetition is key using the same catchphrases over and over and the other one Is Chucklevision

If anyone is interested I have been in contact with the company who apparently published the original ChuckleVision annual that never happened and they have confirmed a brand new annual set for release next July, which is quite exciting and hopefully it will contain grown up stuff as well as Childrens stuff. It's gonna be a great year for ChuckleVision next year!!

I don't see what Little Britain has got anything to do with this?.Chucklevision is aimed at a younger audience,Little Britain was aimed at an older audience.Both programmes are hardly on the same level.

Yes Yes very true. I have never heard any swearing in ChuckleVision and you would never. Although I like both shows they are on very different levels!

Youtube are cracking down on chuckle vision now with lots of episodes being removed but luckily I grabbed them before they went down.

I wouldnt mind in buying DVD of series 1 but Im not going to invest in the dvds if they dont release all series which is what problems tv series are on DVD as if it gets low buying they wont release other series. Wish I had known this before I bought bread.

Not very much but I do know that Series 2 will be released in the first quarter of this year and this will either be April, May or June, but hopefully April in time for Easter.

Yeah so did I. But it isn't YouTube removing them specifically, it is the BBC claiming them and taking them down and the funny thing being they didn't have any interest him them before they came to dvd and they wouldn't have been on dvd if it was up to them. I would only recommend buying Series 1 if you like the old format or if you haven't see it before, try this YouTube episode, which shouldn't be up really, but do watch it to see if you like it.

Hopefully they won't do a few series and just stop, but this does seem like a genuine company who are determined to get them onto dvd. But who knows, there are 21 Series and even I can't see them all being released on dvd by the same company, but you never know.

And if anyone is interested, Paul and Barry have confirmed that Series 22 will be on our television screens this year

I just wish they would scrap the single series releases and just bring out a complete s1 - 10 boxset then 6 months later bring out 11 - 20.

Ive always hated it when a series will get released then because of low sales they dont do the rest. What about the fans who bought the first lot dont they count? Be better in the long run to release everything in one go cos then if it does get low sales at least everythings been released. We aint living in the day of VHS anymore its DVDs and DVDs can hold lots of stuff in a tiny space.

Yeah I know what you mean and I would like to see a big boxset release but I don't know if you realise all the stuff behind the scenes of getting it to dvd. You have to get the episodes cleared from the BBC first and Series 1 and 2 are taking particulary long because of the different format but hopefully this means that Series 3 onwards should be easier to clear and they should be put onto dvd quicker but they also have to go through the BBFC for a certificate. But maybe next year for Series 4 and 5 hopefully they should get some more series out hopefully in doubles if that would be possible. Delta is a relativly unknown company that get by releasing some Children's shows to dvd and one famous show they have released to date is Worzel Gummidge.

Although I am surprised that we haven't found out any release dates or images of Series 2 yet because it is either out in April or May and by July and August last year we had the release dates and images.

This is why I never wanted to buy Happy Days on DVD. If I can only collect s1-5 and not the rest whats the point.

Surely though the concept of "I'm not buying these just in case they don't do the rest" is actually going to partially help them not release more as they would deem the interest level lower than it actually is.

If you want it, or are keen to support the idea of the series coming out on DVD, buy it I say

Roll on S2/3.

i hope there will be its the 25th aniversary thats reason enough even if they just do a one off sepicial
