BOOKING inquiries for the city of Baku have risen sevenfold since Engelbert Humperdinck was named as the UK Eurovision entry.
That's got nothing to do with Eurovision tickets still being on sale of course, it's all purely down to people being interested in the Hump. Even the Star can't really believe that

It also doesn't say that the bookings are for Eurovision week; in fact, they can't be because the Azeris have ludicrously still not opened up hotels and rooms for people to book for that week.

It was 2000. I only found out about it in 2006/2007 though.

ENGELBERT recording the Eurovision song in London with the writers Sasha Skarbeck (center) and Martin Terefe.

The song is sounding AMAZING!

Just seen a pic on Twitter of The Hump recording the video. He's wearing a Tux in what looks to be a very 'X Factors winners single' backdrop type video set?

How reassuring to see that the song is the last thing to be considered. It fair fills you with confidence don’t it?

Looks like it will be a Jazzy number in style of Rat Pack, Bennett and Del Ray. I'm just glad it's a different genre to our normal two of pop ballad or pop.

Wish it was Monday, just so we know whether it is genius or lunacy after all.

Completely agree on this.

I'm really looking forward to hearing the song. At least the calibre of the songwriters is very high.

Looks like we are set to do even better than last year, by the sounds of this news.

Any sign of the song yet? They're leaving it a bit late to let us hear it aren't they?
