what's the (9) mean?
[edit] ah I think DS thought it mean't 'part 9' when infact it means the 8th CoD. |

Ah yes, I had forgotten that Recon would highlight Ass. users.
Recon Pro is very handy for those battles where they need to reload or run an hide. Dome is great for getting Recon Pro, flashbash to A - six Advanced UAV style markers up instantly

My brother just got bought an elite subscription today for his birthday but when he tries to access the content from in game to download nothing happens, I don't suppose anyone has any ideas how to get the maps at all? Thanks.

Elite hasn't worked as it should from the start. I, like many others, signed up to elite premium when it launched and I still have problems downloading content through it. I just kept trying tbh although I admit it IS getting better. Even now I still have problems with it. I downloaded the latest maps through Elite when they came out but whenever I fire up the game I still get the message that new content is available to download.

Even though Elite itself is sh1te, I've never had a problem DLing stuff from it.
Once you get into the MP menu (the one that shows the vault), there should be an option for 'Store' - when there's new DLC to download it will have a green 'new' next to it. Click into the store and then it will ask whether you want to go to the store or download the DLC from Elite. Pick the Elite option and it will tell you what you're getting and then you confirm the download. Sometimes takes a few seconds to pick up (it sits at 'pending' for a little while) but it will eventually begin to DL and off you go. |

Love playing Infected and coming across boosters - reporting them and then following them in every infected game.
I was just following split-screeners about, I received a message, i thought hate mail [yay!] but it was just a message about boosting on Infected!

I just get constant invites to games. Can't sit through a few games without at least 3 coming through.
I just report and block now. Can't be annoyed with it all

Some interesting discussions going on here pretty much highlighting the problems a lot of us have been having. In fairness one of the games developers tries to answer people's gripes and does report back known problems to IW. It also lists upcoming hot fixes in the pipeline. Worth a look if you have five mins.

What is the point of the aeroplanes? they just ruin the miltiplayer, i want to play against ppl, not aeroplanes just randomly killing me, especially when ive done brilliant tactics to trap a guy(hide and wait for him to run past me) and im just bout to kill him and then the aeroplane kills me, lame.

Barebones is the same game modes but you have no killstreak rewards, meaning no one will have helicopters to shoot you down.
At least it they seem a lot more 'fair' compared to Black Ops, where Attack Helicopters would focus on the person leading the team. It still does to some degree but a lot less so. |

Clan Ops seem to pretty much daily now!
Played a Kill confirmed one tonight 7pm - 10pm and the results were up by 10:20pm shocked with that Clan got gold
