Alesha has fitted in perfectly
I think perhaps it's because she is a familiar face on a judging panel on Strictly but for me Alesha has fitted in so smoothly, just like Cheryl Cole did when she took over from Sharon Osbourne.

You are so right. I had never seen Alesha before BGT, and am now a fan of her wonderful sense of good fun, humour and humanity. |

I love Alesha on BGT, she's so lively and vivacious and she 'gets' the so-bad-they're-good acts, as well as the serious contenders - she's a good addition to the panel.

I'm really hoping that this will re-launch her. Alesha does have a hell of a lot of talent, she can sing, dance and has her MC abilities. This could be a great platform for her, and hopefully will musically keep her around. I love her music, I love when she's musically on the scene

She's really Shined on BGT. I really hope she has a successful career, and keep climbing that ladder!

Along with David, Alesha has made this year's judging panel the best ever, and the first year that the judges have been as entertaining (sometimes more so) than the contestants.
She seems much more relaxed and confident than she was on SCD, and genuinely having a ball and enjoying herself hugely. I have always thought that there were things going on in SCD that made her uncomfortable. There were things going on that made me uncomfortable too, and I have been a ballroom dancer for over 50 years. Besides, people seem to forget that she won the series one year, which means that the voting public liked her. By the way, it would have been nice if her parents had been able to spell Alicia. |

She wasn't on the show when it started. When she first appeared on the show it was as a celebrity dancer, and she won.

Dumb decision to join such a bad show. Why does it have 'talent' in the heading, its more a show to bully non talented people by judges with no actual talent. No wonder they have had to delay the start time so that it does not clash with a show that has talent both in the contestants and in the judges.

I would prefer her on X factor, but she's great! i Lover her, i like the fact she's supportive to the act. tbh her and David have made BGT this year. Simon and Amanda are kind of shadowed out..

I think I am the only one that don't like Alesha Dixon. Her laugh is annoying and she's nothing special.

![]() For me, I admire her for being so enthusiastic about the show as a whole. You can tell she's in her element, and I'm not sure why but I can relate to her a lot more than the other BGT judges (it was the same when she was on the SCD panel). For someone who's had such a tough life, she makes me smile every Saturday for picking herself up and getting to where she is now. Some probably think she's only good as eye candy, but she's actually quite an informed and intelligent judge. I also think she has a lovely trait of laughing at others' jokes to make them feel better. She exudes lots of warmth and spirit - top judge! |
