Firefox startup URLs
I have noticed that in the past 10 days my Firefox has been acting up a bit lately. Normally, I have Firefox restore my previous settings, but nowadays when I start up it has been giving me the Google homepage.
In the Options under the General tab, it shows that Firefox should "Show my windows and tabs from last time", or words to that effect. Any ideas on what I can do to solve this problem? Thanks. |

Thanks for the ideas, I did however manage to solve the problem.
I decided to set the start up to be a blank page. I then exited Firefox, and that started on a blank page. I then set it to restore my tabs, and exited Firefox which set it to Google. I went to the digitalspy website and then exited Firefox. I restarted Firefox. Hey Presto! It worked! ![]() I think what was needed was a reset of the options. As to why it got confused, I am not sure. I hope this is useful for those who have the same problem. |
